MediPEDS Men's 8 Pack Diabetic Quarter Socks with Non-Binding Top

Although the brand, type, and description of these socks matched what I've purchased several times locally, these are not the same as the MediPEDS at the local department stores. These are either knock-offs or made specifically for Amazon. They are about 50% thinner and 20% smaller. I wear a 10.5 shoe so I ordered the largest size. According to the size chart, the socks should fit size 9 to 12. My size could not have been anymore in the center of that range. Unfortunately, they did not fit at all.

These are the BEST socks ever. I’m not diabetic but I have toes that are very sensitive to the seam in socks or socks having wrinkles in them. I have some sensory issues and they are full fledged when it relates to my feet. I’ve worn all my other socks inside out for years. I also have some pretty big ankles so I don’t like socks that are tight and leave marks either.I found MediPed at a going out of business sale at a local Kmart. I bought a couple packs they had and loved them. They had blue wording on the toes. I ordered some more on here, thinking they were the same, and didn’t like them as much. They also have blue wording on toes but the pattern of the stitch on the ankle part of the sock is different and the toe seam isn’t as unnoticeable. I came back and ordered more. These. Yet another different version, these have grey wording and yet another pattern of stitching on the upper part of sock but they are by far the best! All have been the same size/style sock so not sure why there are different versions. These have the smoothest seam, least restriction on my ankles, least bunching up under my feet. Overall they’re the perfect sock. Not all medipeds are the same, they are all better than other socks, but I rank these the best of them. Now I must order EVEN MORE because my husband won’t stop wearing them too and he was never a sock snob.

Bought these at a local store about 2 weeks ago. Hubby asked for more as part of his birthday gift. With thanksgiving and the snow storm, I knew I could not get back to the store in time so I ordered online. Very unhappy with quality and I did NOT get what was described or pictured. The sox I got are NOT made in USA as advertised – they are labeled made in Honduras. The contents differ from what was advertised. Mine are 59% cotton, 30% coolmax and 10% nylon. Advertised was 60% Polyester, 36% Coolmax® Polyester, 3% Nylon.They came 4 pair in a pkg and he already opened a package to compare – they are much thinner material and the band seems smaller at the top. The wording on the toes are in grey – not the usual blue. What was advertised matches what I bought in the sore – what I got does not match what was advertised and these give medipeds a bad name. A waste of money (but will be donating to local shelter) and no more sox shopping for me and amazon.

These socks were badly made and appear to be seconds - manufactured rejects. They contain loose strings and bad weaving. The price does not justify the quality. In addition, they do not fit well and some are slightly smaller in the pairing. I will NOT buy these again.

I have bought this brand of socks several times at Walmart but only 1 pair at a time. Figured I would go ahead and purchase an 8-pack since I loved them. I am not sure if these were a "knock-off" or if MediPEDS has cut back on quality but I was extremely disappointed with these socks. They run a little small and barely fit. They also were quite a bit thinner then the individual pairs I bought at Walmart. They also seemed to shrink a little in the wash. I ended up using most pairs as dust clothes after the 1st wearing and wash. I will no longer buy these socks from Amazon. If I buy this brand again it will be from a store when I can verify the quality.

I am a woman who wears women's size 10 shoes. I thought that men's socks would be long enough to not hurt my toes, but these men's size 9-12 are much too short! I just want comfortable socks that don't hurt the tips of my toes because the foot length is too short, but these are supposed to be many, many sizes large for me and they're still too short/small. Perhaps there's only one size and they just pretend that there are two, so if you're a man with small/short feet, they might be OK. But for a woman whose feet are at the high end of average, these are so small that they are uncomfortable.

These are unlike Medipeds that I already use. Even though the package says large [up to men's 12] these are very small. They do stretch out and fit over my feet. But because they stretch so much, that makes them tight and defeats the purpose of Medipeds. It says that the top is non-binding, maybe so, but the rest of the sock is binding. I think that these socks might be for children or for size 9 or smaller. I got a pack in white and a pack of black. They both were small.I will keep looking for some of the original Medipeds that fit so well.

I wear these socks as I am a diabetic & they are loose but still fit nicely. I am not happy with the size of these as I ordered the 9-12 for men. The packaging have size listed for women & also for me. These are no where close to the men's proper sizing. Unfortunately someone open the packaging up be fore I got a chance to see them so I can't return them. Understand the socks are great but the sizing for this item is misleading.

Excellent, great fit and very comfortable. I have bought these previously when I have been over in the USA. Would recommend them to anyone who suffers from swollen feet/ ankles.

These socks are a waste of money. They lose their elasticity after a few washes and are virtually unwearable. Calling them "Diabetic Quarter Socks" is simply a ruse to squeeze money out of unsuspecting consumers. Don't waste your money!

I purchased LARGE Size socks made in USA........ BUT....by tiny Asian People with small feet that live in USAThe size are NOT USA or Canadian SizeMore like Asian Size*** Shopper Beware ***We North Americans will need to order JUMBO SIZE or XXXXLargeIf you order Large Size, they will fit your CHILDREN 7 years to 10 years

so im editing my review .ive bought these socks in the past thought they were great.this time around ive noticed the medipeds logo is on the top of the sock on some and on the bottom on others also not all pairs were the same length some longer some shorter.will be trying another brand next time.

I like these socks. The fit is generally good. However thickness and quality varies every time - I do not like the lack of consistency. Sometimes the name stamp is on top of the toes. Don’t like that. Sometimes white sometimes blue. I never know if getting a summer sock or a winter sock.

This sock is wonderful.Soft ,very nice stretch,wicks foot moisture. Fits according to shoe size in my case. Recommend to wash these socks either alone or in delicates bag.No more pitting edema caused by tight sock cuffs.Have ordered more.Thanks .

I'm really enjoying these socks.most socks have a very tight fit at the top and cut the circulation to my feet.these don't do that.excellent value for the money.

bought these for my elderly father who is bothered by tight fitting socks. They were easy to get on and off and he said that they were comfortable.

Two of the socks in the first pack I opened have holes the the toe area. Nothing to do with a tag. The tags were in a different spot. I do not recommend.

Not the same as pictured, have the pictured ones & their great.These are to small & I'm only supposed to fit to a size12.Even worse I bought 2 packs 16 pairs based on the picture.

These socks have a nice loose fitting cuff making them great for swelling ankles.

Nice fit, a little loose after wash, not serious, I fit size 13, so they are A-Ok.

Size is smaller than advertised, 12 fits like 10 or 11, material gets puffs after use and warns out quickly

been about a week, love how they feel not sure how they will hold up to repeated washing though
