Perfect for learning words. My kid loves these book

My daughter likes pinkalicous and loves these books. Each book focuses on a different vowel sound. The books are great for learning to read as they are reinforcing sounds but she is also able to read them without becoming frustrated in the process.

The books offered the right amount of words that are known as well as a challenge to help the child learn how to pronounce and identify sight words. Would recommend for others and continue to buy as the kid gets older.

This will be a Christmas gift, so I'm not able to speak to the quality or level of fun. But I have high expectations.

This is a nice set of practice readers for kindergarten to first grade, a child who is learning to read and needs work on sight words and reading fluency. The books are very short and simple, far too easy for a second grader or even a first grader who reads at the proper level. The product description said the books align with the Common Core so I expected the package to contain some information about how they support the standards, but there was nothing.If you are looking for a cute set of books for a young girl to practice with, these are an adorable and entertaining set. There isn't any instruction other than the vowel sounds though, so if you are looking for any phonics instruction and application, these books would have to be paired with another book of instruction and used for supplemental practice. There is one book for each short vowel and one book for each long vowel.Overall, this is a nice, but brief set of books.

These were very little "books" but I have never used phonics before. Otherwise, my daughter loves them. She did very well sounding things out on the first book. It's just long enough so she stays interested but doesn't get too flustered. We love pinkalicious in our house.
