I used Adams wheel cleaner on my BMW 328. If anyone is familiar with BMW, their OEM brake pads kick off a ton of dust and rims don't take long to look dark and dirty. .For years I have neglected the wheels on my car and let the brake dust accumulate. The front wheels suffering the most as they are responsible for the majority of the stopping force. I finally decided to get a professional wheel cleaner and settled on Adams because of their positive reviews and seemingly high regard among pros.I cleaned my wheels pretty thoroughly before using Adam's Wheel Cleaner because they were really bad but afterward I realized I didn't even have to. I sprayed it on straight from the bottle, no dilution, and as soon as the color started to change to a deep purple I grabbed my wheel brush and whoolie and went to town all over including all the way to the back of the drums. It foams up really well and gives off a very strong odor which I can honestly describe as a berry candy smell. It was not bad or suffocating, but I was outside which i would recommend. I did wear gloves while handling the cleaner as anything that dissolves metals is probably best not to have all over your skin. A quick rinse and dry with some microfiber towels and I can say my wheels haven't shone like this in years.My only negative takeaway was that I used almost half the bottle on my first use and for ~$14/bottle I will not be doing this very often. I wonder if I can dilute it but there were no instructions suggesting that.I will certainly be using this product again when my wheels need the love but in the meantime I will try and keep them this clean for as long as I can.

Adams products Rock! A buddy got me into this product line 3 years ago when I bought my new 2020 Chevy Colorado LT (love it!). Initially I scoffed a bit, but he lent me some stuff in the beginning and now I'm a big fan. This particular product cuts through street grime and break dust very, very well.I have 2 sets of alloy rims (all seasons on one and snows on other) and when I do seasonal changeover I always wash and clean the set I'm putting up in storage. This product takes dingy and makes it shiny!! I just spray it on front and back and then roll tire up and down driveway (so product doesn't just run off) until it gets kind of a purpley color (about 2 minutes), then give a quick scrub with nylon rim brush and spray off. Product warns you NOT to let it dry on anything so rinse well. Amazing results!!!

I don't take special care of my wheels. I live in a salt belt. When I do clean my wheels I spray this on, give a quick scrub and everything comes right off. It is worth every cent.

The wheel cleaner works really good at removing brake dust. However, it sprays more of a stream than a wide spray, so it really takes a lot of product to get good coverage on my wheel. I want to say it uses 1/4 the bottle or maybe even a little more to do four 21” wheels that have a lot of geometry. Adams told me that this product is too thick to atomize into a spray so there's that. I use this with a drill mounted brush, and it works really great. I've also sprayed it on before going thru an automated car wash

This stuff works great with minimal scrubbing. The photos are of one of the better wheels. Wish I had taken a picture of the front wheels which were much worse. It brought them back to a like new shine. For really dirty wheels, two applications were required to get all of the brake dust and grime off. It also worked well on running boards that had a seemingly permanent yellowish appearance to them. One application, a bit of soak time and they came out almost ew looking as well. You won’t be disappointed with this product.

I have used 100s of cleaners, this one is top 10 for wheels and my go to during every wash. I have semi metallic pads which create a lot of brake fall out. This cleaner has the iron remover needed to break down everything. Great foam. Easy to place in Adams spray bottle.

I was searching for something that can clean the 3 year old dirty calipers without harming my wheels. Of course the safest way would be to use a wheel cleaner and I gave this product a try. Before and after pictures for the front and back calipers are attached. Like others mentioned the smell did not bother me. That’s being said, the cleaning took some time. I did the caliper cleaning one by one. And maybe every wheel 4-5 times. Briefly, rinsed the wheels and brake system, spray the product, let it sit for 2-3 minutes (you will see the color change to a purple), used a nylon little brush and agitate the Product and rinse it completely. For the wheels I just wiped it off. No brushing needed. I think it made a dramatic change. Will use it every 5 car detailing for the calipers and never will let the brake dust sit for years. I almost used 1/3 of the bottle but could definitely use less.

I tried using this wheel cleaner. I could, however, do only one wheel. The smell of the product was nauseating. I have asthma and the smell literally made me sick. This product needs strong warnings and disclaimers about the smell, even when used outdoors it was horrible. Normally, if a product produces such a strong reaction it cannot be good for your lungs. Buy it and use it at your own risk.
