3-piece Balcony Bar – Onyx

Very well made, sturdy and attractively modern/minimalist in design. Also the packaging was very good to protect the product in shipping. You need to have access to someone who is reasonably handy (and a metric socket wrench set) but the parts and instructions were clear and complete. I was actually amazed how well the pieces fit together. The balcony bar (in black) was just what we needed and makes our condo's small terrace useable!

Thanks to the manufacturers for creating this wonderful product! This balcony bar is sturdy and comfortable! We’re able to enjoy our view and our meals at the same time! I misplaced the directions and emailed the manufacturer. He sent me a copy of the directions right away! So glad that we shipped the balcony bar to ourselves in Hawaii (that was an experience!) because it is waterproof aluminum, perfect for the humid Hawaiian weather.

Just got it. I will say I hope all the positives about its durability are correct since our balcony gets some pretty brutal weather including salt air. I'll limit this review to the assembly since it can be made easier than the 4 hours I see some people reporting. The actual tool you need is a small socket wrench or electric driver with metric M6 and M8 sockets (yeah, I know, maybe not every household has these and it even took me forever to find where mine was buried). Crescent wrenches and box wrenches are going to have a hard time since there are tight corners and a lot of the milling is not good. Some bolts really needed to be torqued-in forcefully. Assemble this in good lighting since all of the components including the washers and fasteners are jet black and the manual is printed in black and white with B&W photos of all this jet-blackness. You really can't see what's supposed to be going on. For some reason, the manual says to assemble everything finger-tight and then take it outside all rickety and tighten it. I thought this was unnecessary and introduced some confusion. You see, when I brought it outside and tightened it, it plainly was not level and I spent a considerable amount of time trying to see if some overtightened part was under tension and bending or if the balcony itself was not level. Nope: the unit itself won't be level. It appears to be designed to be assembled sloping backward with the footrest too far down relative to the legs. The manual doesn't mention that it has leveling feet! You might need to extend these 1/2" or so to get it all level. We had rain last night and I did notice water coming out of the frame when I moved it, so possibly killing off each bolt with some silicone caulk would be a good idea.

WOW! Where do I start with this review? This was the best Amazon experience I have ever had a I have had thousands of Amazon transactions between work and home. This product is FANTASTIC. Well designed, extremely well built and super nice. This is just an awesome piece that is worth every penny. You can just tell that this piece will last and last. This was, BY FAR, my best Amazon transaction ever. Wish I could give 10 stars!

Horrible to out together and wobbles.

this is Ideal for the standard patio 3x10 type of balcony space- it ts metal and it hooks up to the railing with ease. Comfortable and the stools fit underneath the bar perfectly. Excellent you wont be disappointed at all- worth the money- Also plenty of room for plates if need be as well.

This is a great addition to my balcony! I live in a high rise and have a small balcony. It doesn’t take up much space but allows me to enjoy the outside. After a few months of testing it out I can honestly say it is an amazing piece that you’re sure to enjoy!

Very cute and fits well on a balcony. However it isn’t as tall as most balcony’s and doesn’t provide for railings rooted in concrete which tilts the bar.
