I had a fungus gnat infestation and I used these in combination with some insectides and it helped get it under control. Within minutes these babies were covered in gnats. Disgusting, yet satisfying. They are VERY sticky- some of the paper was difficult to remove (mostly on the butterfly shape) so my fingers got a bit sticky, but hey, that’s what makes it work so well.

I have several plants inside my home and these were exactly what I needed. They are easy to peel, and very easy to push into the soil. They are durable, not flimsy at all. They do a great job of catching fungus gnats at the source. Totally recommend!

Literallly as I was putting one into the dirt, fungus gnats were landing on it. Haha, suckers! In under a minute it had already captured half a dozen of those tiny jerks. I love how easy they are to use, though I wish the stake portion was a bit more sturdy. The package came with some really nice plant stakes that are very sturdy and came in handy for my ferns and other plants with dense leaf clusters. I sort of wish they either all came with stakes as strong and as long as that. The bonus tiny shovel was more adorable than practical but I like that they thought to include it. It’s just sort of adorable. I didn’t think I would have fun doing pest control but between the instant satisfaction of seeing it working and using a ridiculously cute miniature shovel to help plant the stakes, it was rather a delightful few minutes.

The media could not be loaded.  Just what my plants and home needed! I changed all my plants pitting soul, come to find out the new soil was infested with eggs. I bought these to combat the insect infestation and they worked like a charm. I just replaced all the sticky things in my plants, we will see how many insect flies are still there! They’re super sticky & easy to use. The butterfly shaped ones can be a little harder to get the white paper off that they come in but other than that no complaints!

These things work so good!!! I had many gnats that were hatching from my house plants. I placed 2 traps in each plant and it worked fantastic! I total recommend and will be purchasing more. I suggest wearing a pair of gloves while removing the protective paper because the sticky film is very sticky and it is hard to get off of your fingers.

Does what it’s supposed to do. However, the complex shapes make it so the paper rips very easily when you try to peel it off. I took these photos after *carefully* peeling. Definitely needs a better design, I end up having to use my finger nails to pry most of the paper off and get sticky every single time. (Second photo is the point I give up and just stick them in my plants). Will look for more basic shapes in the future.

My wife loves guinea pigs, which all know are the world's messiest pet, consuming 2 pounds of food results in 3 pounds of waste. LOL! The physics of guinea pigs is truly a phenomenon.While she keeps their C&C cages very clean, changing their fleece every day, ultimately with so much produce being fed to them, phorid flies can be a problem. Seems like produce from Trader Joes and most organic markets do have a tiny issue with bugs.So, I custom made holders for these sticky traps and we keep them near the guinea pig cages, clipping them on the sides where they're super secure and cannot fall in or be moved until it's time to change. They work wonderfully!As a rule, one sticky trap lasts for a month or two, so we don't actually do through many of them, but they absolutely help and you'll see their effectiveness immediately!
