Smaller then I had hoped. But still just as cute. It played "you are my sunshine". Which was perfect. I would sing it to my girls when they were little in the car. This was a present for my 12 year old daughter. The glitter floats around for a moment. It doesn't just sink straight to the bottom after shaking. It is a wind up music key.

I received this globe with a small part missing, not allowing it to properly function. I reached out to the vendor and a new globe was sent immediately, free to me, and my six year old girl is in love! Thank you so much for this beautiful product!

The media could not be loaded. I collect snow globes, and my daughter has wanted one of her own, so I bought this one for her for Christmas. She loves unicorns, and this one is perfect for her. It's more petite than my standard snow globes, but it's absolutely beautiful and does more than I thought it did! It's battery operated (2 AAA), well made and detailed. This snow globe lights up, cycling through pretty colors, and has an internal rotating mechanism so the glitter blows around and twirls as it plays different melodies. I'm very pleasantly surprised and my daughter loves it!

I bought this as a Christmas present for our four year old. She LOVED it. It’s super cute, with glitter and a unicorn, and the lights change colors when it’s turned on,which is a pretty neat effect. I even kinda like the music. But just a heads up- the music is very loud (I taped a few pieces of duct take over the speaker holes to mute it a little). And it only has an on/off switch, NOT a timer. So if your little princess likes to sleep with it, you’ll have to manually turn it off so it doesn’t play all night. Not a huge deal especially because the battery cover is easy to remove, not screwed in with a tiny little screw, so it’s really easy to replace the batteries. But I wasn’t expecting the loud music and lack of auto shut-off.

Nice for gift

Window for return has closed, as I purchased this early for my granddaughter, for Christmas. 2 1/2 hours after opening the shatter proof snow globe, it was broken all over my living room rug. Live and learn. Don’t buy Christmas presents too early and don’t believe every description you read about an item.

Overall, the snow globe was as advertised on the website. As stated in other comments, there is no volume control so the music is a bit loud. However, the motor was so noisy, volume control for the music would have made no difference. I am returning the snow globe.In addition, this snow globe only has one light so the "snow" and unicorn are unevenly lit up (compared to 2 lights on other snow globes).

I'm so excited to gift this to my daughter for xmas. It's beautiful and the music is sweet. The colors are perfect. I am so happy with this purchase.
