Lipper International Child's Slanted Top Desk & Chair, Walnut Finish, 25 1/2" x 16" x 26"

Was heavier than I imagined. Seems like real good quality wood. Instructions stunk but it was pretty easy to figure out from the picture.My only major gripe with it is the hardware included. Sure the screws look great but two of the screws to the chair stripped using the supplied Allen wrench. I had some spare bolts lying around that were about the same size but the screw head was a different color. Now the chair has two different colored screws because otherwise I’d be waiting weeks for the company to send out spare screws. Lame.

I love it 😍... Bought it for my grandson who is 4 year's old and is under the Autism-Spectrum. However, I had one minor issue about one of the top left (Short Allen Screw- RF 10106) of the desk does not seem to tighten well enough like the rest of the screws did. I hope that in time does not come out of the desk. Overall is beautiful and easy to assemble as is very firm (sturdiness). 🙏💁📚

This is a good little desk and a good value for the money. No, it's not as substantial and sturdy as some more expensive desks, but it's not a lightweight, either. It's got a great color (walnut) and a classic design that looks great in a kid's room or, as we have it, in our living room. There is a lot of space in the desk to store whatever writing/art supplies your child needs, and the lid stays open until you close it, so it's safe for small fingers. As other reviewers have noted, the desk lid does not close completely (there's about 1/2" of space), but it's not a big deal, still looks fine, and it closes when my son is leaning on it to draw and write. Also, the chair that comes with the desk is, indeed, too small for it and looks a little odd -- but it's still functional and my son hasn't complained. For these reasons I give the desk four stars instead of five, but we are still happy with the desk overall -- especially for the price.

My son loves his new desk. It is the perfect size for him- 3yrs old- and I believe he'll get several years of use out of it. He likes having his own space to draw, color, etc.The desk & chair were damaged in several places which was disappointing (the box must have been dropped a few times as the corners of the desk and ends of chair are damaged). I'm not sure if we want the hassle of shipping it back and waiting for a replacement...although I see from other reviews that returns aren't really a hassle.I am an Amazon Prime member and was supposed to receive in 2 days, it arrived in 4 days but not a huge deal since it arrived on Christmas Eve, giving us time to assemble and have ready for Christmas morning. I imagine that it was delayed due to the holiday rush.Overall, we do love the desk and recommend it for toddler age thru probably 2nd-3rd grade, just wish it would have been delivered damage free.

This desk and chair set is beautiful! The first set that came UPS had one broken leg, but when I called Amazon's customer service they sent a replacement next-day shipping for me... no problem!Other than that brief set back, I am so happy with it. I bought it for my daughter's 2nd birthday. She is a little small for her age so we just put a cushion on the chair to lift her up to a better height.Despite what other reviews say, everything exept the underside of the desk is SOLID wood. Not plywood or press board. The legs have two heights to choose from which will be handy later. The desk storage is super roomy and I can fit my daughter's big pencil box, a big stack of coloring books, and a big stack of blank paper inside and still have room for more. I think it would easily store school books and materials when we start homeschooling.This desk and its chair are both very sturdy and I can see them lasting a very long time and perhaps even being passed on. Highly recommended!

This is too cute. It works well for my little who is in kindergarten. This chair seems to be small but it works. Not sure a larger chair would work as well. My little one loves his desk. It has become a lot easier to get him to do his homework.I don't know why I thought this desk came assembled. It did not! Not sure how hard it is to put it together. My husband had it up when I got home. But if he can do it it must be fairly easy. He isn't that handy with tools.Don't worry about the opening catching little fingers. The child has to pull the desk close.

Great quality, easy to assemble, and my daughter loves. Only took 5 minutes to put together. Looks great in our homeschool room.Only complaint is a few of the pre- drilled holes did not line up making it slightly harder to assemble.

I ordered this desk on Saturday and it arrived on Tuesday! Although the assembly instructions weren't the best, it was such a basic job that it only took me 20-minutes to put the desk and chair together. This set is absolutely the cutest thing I've ever seen. I bought it for my 3-year old granddaughter and it's so solid that she'll be able to save it for her own children. I can't wait to buy one for my 3-month old granddaughter. It was also well packaged and there's not a scratch or dent anywhere on either the desk or the chair. I would wholeheartedly recommend this set to purchase for a child.
