Q: I'm looking for something that would absorb the dry oil off my hands when I use it in the salon. Would this get the oil off my hands?

I use Tub O Towels. They work better than any hand cleaner I've ever used. They are similar to wet wipes but are better at removing oil, grease and grime.

Q: I think these absorb oil vapor from the air. Although that is not the normal use I find it useful to locate leaks. Anyone else think this is useful?

Don't know how they will work in an air filter but they don't shed. I use them to absorb oil in my marine bilges.
