So if I was the rate the pendant by itself, it’s 5 out of 5 stars. The opal is beautiful and the gold is actually 14k, and I’m absolutely happy with that. The chain it came with was already tarnished with splotchy orange patches (I attached a photo of it in my hand). The necklace was obviously used and sent back to them because the box the necklace comes in is wrinkled, and the necklace wouldn’t sit flush in the box and keeps popping out so it looks like crap. I’ll post a picture of what I mean, but I didn’t pay for a used necklace so I’m very unhappy with that. Luckily I had a replacement chain for the necklace that is actually 14k gold, and I won’t be embarrassed giving this to my sister for her birthday. I 100% wouldn’t have gifted the necklace to her with the chain they give you. My replacement chain is in the pictures with the pendant, the chain they sent is in the photo with my hand. Also there was no certificate of authenticity.

The picture of this necklace was much prettier than the actual thing. When I received it, the chain was tarnished and brassy looking, like it had been worn. The opal did not have "fire." It was just like a bland, almost solid white stone.

I love this item its beutiful and elegant can wear morning to night casual or dress up I highly recommend to anyone wanting an excellent value for the money I do suggest you buy a chain as the one that comes with is not real gold and will turn after very little wear other than that I'm very pleased with my london blue cut and clarity are far superior to much more expensive peices I ve seen

I ordered this necklace in October and I have been wearing it since that time almost everyday but lately it is starting to tarnish and it is turning black. I thought i was getting a gold necklace apparently it is not the case.

I purchased it as a gift for my daughters birthday. The stone is a nice size and a pretty color. The only drawback is the chain, I feel a 14k chain is more appropriate vs the plated chain. I purchased a separate chain for the pendant. The result was a nice memorable gift that will last.Truly a lovely stone!

Wife liked the pendent. I bought a different chain to with it before I gave it to her because the one it came with was not 14 caret and looked very tarnished.

It’s really beautiful. Definitely shines under light - from afar it might just look white but the details are really noticeable when closer. The necklace isn’t gold as stated in description - the pendant is. I love it so far and use it with my own gold chain.

Got this for my fiance for Christmas and I don't like it. She wears it because she'd dutiful like that, but the lab-created sapphire looks like a cheap knockoff and there's something about it that just looks out of place with her other nice jewelry. I wish I'd gotten something else instead. For the money it's probably about what you're paying for, but I wouldn't recommend if you want something that holds its own with better sapphire jewelry or a nice engagement ring.
