TAMASHII NATIONS Bandai S.H.Figuarts Vicious Cowboy Bebop, Multicolor

I love how posable the figurine is. Great product for the price. Only complaint would be that I received a piece that doesn’t fit and without that piece I am not able to put the bird on his shoulder. Aside from that it’s really great.

This figure is decent; it doesn't need to be anything special because the character it depicts doesn't have any kinds of special equipment or fancy gimmicks in the animation they appear in. The anatomical sculpt is pretty good, though the hair is a little bit weird upon the transition to 3D plastic. Articulation is excellent, the extras that are included are all well done, and the paint application is perfectly fine. The only place that this figure suffers, which is an unfortunately common issue with the FiguArts line, is that joint tension and molding tolerances in some parts of the hips and torso are just not great. The figure may need to be disassembled and the joints treated and thickened in order for it to feel solid in the hands. It doesn't slump or drop a pose, but joint tension throughout the mid and lower body suffers from the same problems that early Robot Damashii did.

Like the title says I didn't get him to add to a collection or anything. I'm not into dolls or figures or whatever I just liked cowboy bebop and wanted something cool to decorate my pc case with. He'll kind of stand on his own, I guess if you want him to do more than lean up against something that wont work though. The little faces and different hands are cool. Seems like from other reviews though that stuff is normal and doesn't make him worth 70 bucks. His joints are pretty stiff compared to the toys I had when I was a kid, not like you would hand him over to a child and let them play with it. Either way I like the size and he fits in pretty nice.

I recently got into product photography as a way to hone my skills in cinematography while in school for it. I enjoy comics and animated shows as well as anime so growing up I loved "Cowboy Bebop" and of course enjoyed the main character. So this figure served as a great poseable likeness to Spike Spiegel to use in my ACBA ( articulated comic book art ) work. It has great articulation points to pose him in dynamic shots, the faceplates give a good range of emotions for him. the one with the cigarette is probably my fave since he does smoke in the show and it really embodies the personality of the character when posed. The paint detail is well done too and this is why I like a lot of figures from S.H. Figuarts. They typically do a great job overall with my favorite characters. It's well worth the money and I hope they do more from the series.

I love Cowboy Bepob and was excited when I saw this figure. After receiving him, I gotta say I am overall very happy with him. His joints work smoothly and hold their poses. He is decently stable without a stand, however I do wish SH Figuarts would include stands much like Figma does. Luckily you can find suitable stands for low prices. Also I do wish he had a few more accessories such as other guns and grenades he used in the show. A mini Sparrow would have been really cool too. The paint on mine was very good. Faces and hands are easy to change and stable. Overall for the price and what you get, I am happy.

If you wanted a highly articulated and pose able figure you have found it. Only issue is the figure seems a bit small next to my other SH Figuarts figures. Like 1-1.5 full inch shorter than Dragon Ball Z and 1 inch shorter than my Power Rangers. This makes them weird to display with the other SH figuarts series. They literally look smaller.

Ok, so this little figurine is great. The parts are easy to remove and replace, though very small. The color is accurate, just like the character. The only reason I docked a star (I'd do 4 1/2 if I could) was because he's difficult to stand up while posing. I will need some kind of stand to prop him up. Since this figurine isn't meant for rough play, it would be nice to have it be free standing.Based on his size though, the replica swordfish II slated for release in a couple months is going to be sizeable. Woohoo!I'd recommend to any cowboy Bebop fan!

I really love that Bandaii Tamashii nation S.H. Figuarts decided to sell Spike Spiegel from the Cowboy Bepop show! The articulation is well made and great for fight poses. There are multiple poses you can have Spike do such as punching, high kicking, etc.The Sculpt of Spike is well aligned with the dimension of how the character should appear as a 1/12 scale size figurine. they offer a variety of poseable possibilities and provide numerous hand gesture and facial expressions so that you can have Spike posed in his martial arts fighter stance e or in his casual cool stance. I hope they can introduce Valentine next year and that Bandai Tamashii nation S.H. Figuarts will continue producing amazing quality figurines.
