Wish I could give 10 stars. Lightweight but very sturdy!
Wish I could give 10 Stars! Over the years I’ve tried different styles of fan blade dusters. The duster always falls off or the unit is too flimsy. Not this one. This is very easy to clean, the duster head is attached permanently to the mop head so it won’t fall off. I was able to dust not only the fan blades but I was also able to reach and dust the top of the fan unit itself. One of the best impulse purchases I’ve made in a very long time. An amazing product. I’m now wondering if it’s possible to purchase a couple more of the extenders. This works to well I was even able to dust the extender that attaches the fan to the ceiling. I have a vaulted ceiling and need a little bit more length to dust all the way up the fan’s extension poll. I don’t know how to go about contacting the company but I’d really like to get a couple more handle extensions for this duster. The uses for this duster would be limitless in reaching up on my vaulted ceilings.

Oh my gosh!!…
This is amazing!! I have a very old one with bristles and a short handle, so it was always a mess cleaning the ceiling fans, but this is SO much better! First the extended handle makes it more versatile and easier to use. I can clean dust in the corners of the ceiling or tops of picture frames and door casings. Second, it holds onto the dust better when you rub it to create a static charge. Lastly, as good as it is at picking up dust, it’s just as easy to shake it off and get it clean, plus you can wash it, (hand wash, but still better than no wash)! My other has dust that probably dates back to the Civil War! I don’t “gush” and I rarely write reviews (I just do the star thing), so I hope that this conveys how pleased I am with this product!

These work like a dream!
I have 8 ceiling fans in my house, and have always put off cleaning them because it is such a pain. I have to drag around a step stool or ladder, carrying it up and down the stairs, plus I’d always end up with the dirt and dust all over me, in my hair, eyes, mouth - just everywhere, including all over furniture and the floor! And then I’d have to clean up all THAT mess. So I purchased 2 of these, thinking I’d be able to clean all 8 fans at once without down time for cleaning the heads. It didn’t quite work out that way - I only got 4 of the fans cleaned before I needed to clean the heads of both dusters. After unscrewing the handle where it attaches to the section containing the heads, I carried these sections to the kitchen sink, wet each one (separately), squirted on some dish detergent, and worked up a lather amongst the fiber, squeezing and scrubbing the heads with my hands. After a thorough rinsing, I hung them over the sink to dry. The heads retained a LOT of water, so every 30-60 minutes I returned to them and wrung them out by hand again. Figured they’d finally dry overnight, but no…they were still quite damp in the morning, and still not fully dry by the next day. But they finally dried, and I reattached them to the rest of the handles, and fluffed up the heads as recommended to restore the static charge. The 1st photo shows them after the washing, drying, and fluffing: they look absolutely brand new! I had sprayed the fibers with Endust before using, and a small amount of dust from the blades DID escape the fibers and land on the floor. Way less than my old dustcloth cleanings would dislodge, thougn. I’ve since read that I shouldn’t have used any dusting products with these, so maybe that’s why - maybe the Endust interfered with the electrostatic forces. Regardless, it was my fault, because it had been a couple of years since 3 of the fans had been cleaned, so there was a LOT of dust on the blades! And now that I have these babies, it will never be more than a few months between fan blade cleaning again! And unlike other ceiling fan dusters, these heads are plump and wide and FULL of fibers, and hold a LOT of dirt and dust. My only complaint about these is that it would be SO much easier to clean the heads if the heads were removable from the metal. Especially if they could be washed in the washing machine! [Note: My reading of the listing lead me to believe that the heads were fully removeable for easy cleaning (see 2nd pic), and that is definitely NOT the case - they are permanently attached to the base of the duster.] Even so, cleaning the heads isn’t all that difficult; I’m just saying it could be even easier! And for full disclosure, my hand/arm strength isn’t enough to fully tighten all the handle joints, so 1 or more of them unscrew a tiny bit with use, but not enough to interfere with the duster’s function, and I just re-tighten the offending connection as best I can, and carry on. Someone who has stronger hands and forearms won’t have a problem at all. These are a must-have for me - wish I’d had them years ago!

Very portable and convenient
It reaches ceilings and hard to reach areas. It comes with about 5 parts that allows you to screw together making it as short or as tall as you need however the material is not that sturdy. If you don’t apply alot of pressure it is fine. I accidentally bent mine up by shutting a closet door on it. But it was worth the money in my op. I still use it even though I bent it. I like that I can detach the head and throw it in the washing machine and I also like that it comes apart making It easy to throw in my cleaning caddy. I use it in my cleaning business and it is important to utilize the space I have. It’s also very lightweight which I appreciate as well. I like that it eliminates waste but allows you to thoroughly clean and disinfect in between jobs.

Ceiling Fan Duster
I really like this. I was really pleased with this product. Yes, the rods are a little small but your cleaning fan blades and the extension is nice. We have 5 ceiling fans and what would have taken me a good 30 minutes or so to do only took me about 6 minutes to clean all 5 fans! This item made it so easy to do. Didn't have to climb a 2 step ladder and the up and down from the ladder and rinsing the rag to clean the blades. This was so nice and the work took little to nothing to do. Sure made my life much better. By all means, I recommend this. Make sure you follow the easy cleaning of the duster. I give it 5 stars but maybe someone else wouldn't like it as much as I do. It's a personal choice.

Cleans blades on my high-ceiling fans easily!
Love this duster! This is a great product. Just to play it safe, I threw a sheet over the furniture under it, in case there was a mess. But, the duster surrounds the blades easily, the special fiber grabs the dust in clumps rather than scatter it throughout the room. Outside, I tapped it several times as the dust fell off, then wiped it with a damp cloth until it was clean. I used it throughout my house on all my indoor, and front and back porch fans, as well. I am most happy that the dust did not appear to fly off the duster, but appeared to cling to it until I took it outside. Haven't washed it yet, because the dust clumps blew off easily outside, but I will follow manufacturer's recommendation. I highly recommend this fan blade duster.

Never imagined cleaning ceiling fan blades could be this easy. The ceiling fan duster easily slides into each fan blade, removing all the dust on both sides, as it slides out. Repeated process twice for each fan blade. As it was my first time using the duster, l covered the area below with plastic sheets to catch falling dust particles but there was hardly any. The microfibres kept the dust intact for easy disposal into a bucket! I then easily rinsed off the duster with some light detergent & left it to dry. Also, there was no need for chair or a ladder to stand on while cleaning as the extendable poles were lightweight & long enough for me to reach the fan. I'm 5ft 3inch. Wonderful product! Takes the hassle off cleaning.
