Good Substitute for Frozen/Fresh
This is what I was looking for to use in smoothies when frozen/fresh pineapple isn't available. The product isn't very strong, so I had to use more than expected. While rather weak, the flavor tastes fresh and works perfectly. I like that it's freeze-dried.

Organic Pineapple Powder, 8 Ounce, Freeze Dried
Organic Pineapple Powder, 8 Ounce, Freeze Dried surprised me! I bought this product because the canned version of pineapple juice was sold out. So, this powdered version fulfilled my craving. Firstly, you can fulfill any objections of the recommended spoonful of powder as being: 1) too thin, 2) Not much flavor and 3) lack of body by simply, increasing the amount of powder. Secondly, let the powder sit and dissolve throughly in the refrigerator (make it cold). It works from here!

Tried It and 3 Star Liked It
I didn’t like this too much. It tastes artificial. I love the convenience of being in powder form. I love the price for its convenience

No flavor
This has so little flavor that it's barely worth using. Instructions say to add one rounded scoop to smoothies, desserts, juice, tea, and yogurt. Does not specify volume to add it to. Their included scoop is about 1 rounded teaspoon. I used a rounded scoop in 8 oz of water to get a sense of the flavor. It tasted like plain water. I then tried two scoops in 4 oz of water. It smelled like pineapple but still tasted like plain water. I thought maybe it was just not effective in water, so I tried a scoop in 1/3 cup of plain yogurt. No difference in flavor. I added a total of 4 scoops to the yogurt. It was marginally sweeter but with only a hint of pineapple. What is the point of this product? It's certainly not useful for flavoring and very expensive if you have to use so much for minimal results
