Great disks! Love it that I can write my own info on the disk and not have to use a CD Label.
I needed blank DVD disks where I could write my own content descriptions. I had been purchasing "logo" disks and then used CD Labels on them. I did not want to keep purchasing CD Labels, so started purchasing blank disks with their own writable labels. These worked fine.

Nice flat white surface hold the ink - small type is legible.
Nice flat white printable side - I run these through my Epson Artisan 50 DVD printer and the labels come out just fine. I can slightly pull back on the ink coverage too since the flat white side seems to gain a bit in the printing, but it's still clear and the small reversed type is still readable. Who still prints DVDs? I do and so do all the archivists that I know right now. Will we have DVD players in 5 years? who knows . . . but I have a lot of DVDs now, ready to store video and archives for libraries and clients on.

Well it's okay but if you are running it in certain dvd recorders
It'll say Must format everytime.. Not fun.. And that was an older recorder.... Something not correctly formatted on these..

Worked great, no coasters so far. I got these in and had a video project with several discs to burn. They all burned great. The labels are matte finish which I like. The graphics and print looks wonderful. [I have a cd printer tray on my H.P. printer] These are full face labels and very thin, which is best. As other users stated, they're not packed in a cake box, so the only damage to the package was the shrink wrap tore, but none were damaged. I had a spare 100 spindle cake box so they were easy to store. For the price, I don't think you could go wrong.

This is my second order from Smart Buy. The first 100 dvd's burned and played back flawlessly. Just know that these dvds come in two50 count packages. And they are NOT on a spindle. So if you have a spare spindle, keep it. You'll need it. BTW I use AVS Disc Cretor.It burns at 6X by default. I don't change it and I had absolutely zero problems with my first 100 Smart Buy dvds. I cannot evaluate higherburn speeds. Highly recommend.
