We first bought a box of 4 of these lights in January to see how they would work. We liked them so much we have since bought 6 more boxes of 4 each for our landscaping. They have been rained on and even survived a hail storm on March 16th. So far they have worked very well and really add to our landscaping at night.

I am impressed with these. I had tried typical stake standing solar lights in the flower bed that outlines the brick wall in our backyard but they just weren’t doing it for me. I wanted a brighter glow. These turned out to be exactly what I hoped for! The light shines a decent height up (see pics, I posted 3 - two are close up and one from farther away). Lights it up beautifully! These came pre-charged (i put them in the ground at about 6pm in the evening after getting home from work) and they shined bright without a full day of charge right out of the box. Packaged well with each light wrapped in bubble wrap in the box. All 4 worked. These come with an on/off switch on the bottom. Just flick the switch to On and stick in the ground and good to go. Putting the stake part together was easy. You don’t have to use the stake but it does help them stay in place as they are lightweight. I was able to get them flush with the ground easily since they were going in soft soil and the stake piece is shorter than other solar lights I own. If you’re putting them in harder soil i would suggest to break up the dirt a bit to get them in place until they are as flush with the ground as you want them to be. I love solar lights and have bought many kinds before but these are definitely a new favorite! Thank you!!

These solar lights work right out of the box, if they don't they simply need a 6-12 hour charge in the sun; but mine worked. They are very easy to assemble. Basically slide two pieces of plastic together to form the stake, then push that onto the back of the light disk. On the back of disk has an on/off switch. Make sure to change that to the ON position. Peel plastic film off from front of light disk, and you are good to go.Details!--The disk is stainless steel--Waterproof-- Has 8 warm white LED lights.-- When all put together, the dimensions are: 4.5" (disk diameter) 14.5" (disk circumference) 1" (approximate disk depth) 5.1" total height (disk and stake together)--The lights turn on when it is dark enough, and automatically turn off (and charge up) when it is bright and sunny.--Working Time: 6-8 hours lighting time after 4-6 hours sunlight charging.--Comes with 1 AA battery, installedAdditional thoughts:--If you don't want to use the stakes, you do not need to, you could just lay them wherever you want.--Depending on how much light you have in your house to charge these, you could use them inside (with or without stakes) for additional light.While I see no reason to turn these into the off position (unless storing), I could see where the on/off being on underside of disk might be hard to access IF you have these flush with the ground. I don't plan to switch to OFF position once I get them into place.I have definitely used other solar lights (or rather ended up not using other solar lights) that were dim. Like light output was so low that they were pointless even as an area enhancer. Of course these aren't spot lights, but the light will be visible.I included several pictures from the moment I took them out of the box, to when I set them down with lights off. I haven't decided where I want to use them outside as of yet, but wanted to show you what they look like right away. I think I will need more than four!

I bought these lights to embed in the grass at each 3" step up along the 70 ft long walkway from the driveway to our front door. They work awesome! They totally reflect the height change so that guests dont stumble when leaving our home in the evening. And they move so easily, so i have put them in flower beds in the backyard for illumination until the next time we have guests that we want to safely get back to their cars in the driveway.

I buy the first time in December and it's still lighting I'll buy me some more love it

These lights are great low profile solar lighting. They even recharge on cloudy days!! I love these lights as accent lighting/ up lighting in my gardens as the light is bright enough to accent the plants and also give off enough soft lighting for a soft glow!

This was my 3rd order. All went well as driveway replacements.

These are great lights! I ordered 16 of them and all 16 worked, which in my experience with solar lights is unusual. I have had them for about a month and a half and have had no problems. The warm white color is amazing. I couldn't be happier with these lights.
