Wow, this is the best Gimbal ever! I just bought iPhone 11 for a trip to Japan and this Gimbal complements perfectly with the camera of my iPhone. The stability is just perfect and I love both the quality of the product materials and how usable is the app. I have used before other well known drone-manufacturer brand's gimbals but those didn't feel as good as this.

it does not work super well with my Samsung galaxy s9+ I have to restart and then it will let me use the buttons. Sometimes it will not start up when I push the power button. I sometimes have to plug into the power cord then it will start up and I can take it off the power source.

You have to use its own app. Your camera doesn't work with it. Sometimes it tracks when you don't want it to. There are better ones out there that will connect and use your phone and camera vs a separate app.

For the life of me, could not figure out how it worked. The app kept crashing and wouldn’t work on my iPhone.

This gimbal is my first ever, it was a little tricky to get started but once I got the hang of it, I was getting good steady shots with my LG V20.The app has huge potential but there is something in the software that causes the video focus to lock to a very shallow focal length. It seems like a conflict between the in camera software and the app software. Not sure if this happens with other phones, but this renders the app completely useless, which sucks because the tracking works really good but is out of focus unless extremely close to the subject.If you use this gimbal with the built in camera app, you will get great steady shots. Dont depend on a working app for your purchase decision.

Well, I would have returned it, but I was too busy figuring out that it didn't work. This was my first gimbal and I didn't know what I didn't know. After spending weeks thinking it was user error, I finally figured out that the application for the cell phone is garbage. It ignored commands, disregarded settings, and dramatically reduced the quality of the pictures and video vs the standard phone settings.The best thing I can say about this item is that it makes a very expensive, but effective table top tripod.
