Caprice

This album has not been released in the U.S., only in Europe. It is a loss to audiences here. David Garrett brings classical music and classical music history to the forefront. My daughter who is a young violinist has decided that he must practice many many hours. There is no hesitation, only musicality on even the most difficult pieces. I'm glad I was able to find and purchase this album on Amazon - I could not purchase it through ITunes or the David Garrett website.

David Garrett. ALWAYS thrilling, always surprising. After the rock albums and other experimental this and that lately, it's nice to get back to some of the kinds of work that allow him to showcase his exceptional talent. He's electrifying live, and only somewhat less so in his recordings. (He's a visual feast, after all.) Wonderful album. It's become the default CD in my player.

If you're a David Garrett fan, you must have this CD. I swear, this guy could just play scales, and I'd be entranced. He can make the most beautiful music I've ever heard, whether he's playing rock or classical. You simply MUST get this CD.

Between "Caprice" and David's CD "Timeless", I'm wearing both of them out. Caprice shows David's incredible mastery of the violin to the max! And "Timeless" is just exquisite - two beautiful symphonies!

This cd is wonderful. However it has all the same music as "Garrett vs Paganini" (the soundtrack for the movie) except for Erlkonig. I thought it had something different but... I can never have too much David Garrett!!!

Love this album. Devil's Trill Sonata rocks. It is brilliant arrangement. It is so fresh. David Garrett composed Ma Dove Sei for Andrea Bocelli. It is so beautiful.

Another wonderful album from David Garrett. I can close my eyes and relax to the fabulous sound of the violin. David puts so much energy and passion into his playing. Anyone a David Garrett admirer or fan or even if you just like violin music which has a twist on some of the pieces you will enjoy this album. Highly recommended!

Really like this cd. Uplifting music, very enjoyable.

Have to say I had never heard of David, saw him on a TV program. Both My Wife and I were instantly impressed and bought the Cd straight away. It is really lovely to drive to and great as back ground Music. If you like classical music You will love this!

I'm not a classical music buff by any means but he is able to bring it or his own variation of it to everyone!I love him as a musician, as a highly intelligent man and he is gorgeous too what a unbelievable package of perfection.
