High Quality Swiss-Made Mechanical Automatic Timepiece
I purchased my first Zodiac Sea Wolf in 1967 while serving in the US Marine Corps. It was durable, accurate and maintenance free. This NEW Zodiac is an updated larger 39mm version of the same watch, and is part of the new Zodiac Heritage Collection. (The original 1960s watch was only 36mm dia.) The New Watch is accurate, comfortable on the wrist, and easy to read. It has a solid Stainless Steel case, a scratch resistant Sapphire Crystal, and a sapphire crystal presentation back so you can view the High-Beat 28,800 bph Mechanical Movement and the mechanical auto-wind system. It is Water Resistant to 200-Meters (660 feet) and has a Screw-Down Crown.(Amazon.com INCORRECTLY identifies this watch as having a battery powered Quartz movement.)The watch has a quality solid stainless Jubilee style bracelet. The Clasp is secure, and blends into the bracelet. It is very attractive and has a small spring loaded expansion joint. But, the clasp is a bit tedious to use and will require some patience and manual dexterity. The watch has a tight unidirectional Stainless Steel Bezel with 120 crisp detents. The engraved markings on the Bezel are difficult to read and should probably be a contrasting color. I carefully painted the engraved markers on the Bezel with Flat Black Enamel. Now, it looks great, it is easy to read, and looks more like the original 1960s Sea Wolf. The ZODIAC SeaWolf has been redesigned several times over the years. However, nothing has ever been as popular as the original 1960s SeaWolf~! The stylish design of the 1960s SeaWolf seems to be timeless. The watch looks just as fashionable today as it did 50-years ago~! This Heritage SeaWolf captures the original 1960s design and is just beautiful~! This is a High Quality Swiss-Made Mechanical Automatic Timepiece~!

Still making nice watches.
I had purchased a Zodiac Aerospace GMT in 1971 while in the Army and loved it. I was young and didn't really take care of it but it lasted a longtime anyhow. I still have the watch but I can't set it because the crown is missing but if I shake it, it starts running. Anyway I always said that if I got the chance that I would get another one or something similar. This is a high quality watch and well made and just as good looking as the originals although a little bigger. Amazon incorrectly shows this watch as having a battery operated quartz movement but it does not. This watch has a Swiss automatic movement meaning it is self winding with no battery. It comes in a nice case and I got mine in about 10 days. It is a beautiful watch and very comfortable on the wrist.

Very nice watch for the occasional sale price
Very nice watch for the occasional sale price. Great vintage styling and nice "civilized" size at 39mm. The Jubilee bracelet is very comfortable and the clasp, while taking some getting used to, is pretty cool. You get the security of a bracelet with the function of a strap since you can open it up like a strap. The clasp also has a small spring to it, allowing for wrist expansion when it's warmer (not enough for a true divers extension). Finishing is nice, though I'd appreciate a signed crown. Also, the crown screws down, but it cross threads easily (a common complaint with this watch). You have to be careful screwing it down to avoid cross threading.Still, these are minor nits to pick for a watch at this price point. I think it compares nicely to the popular Oris Divers 65 (which I also own). I'd recommend this watch.

Fossil ruined a beautiful watch. Most disappointing watch I have ever purchased
Not even six months into owning watch, it will not stay wound! My grandfathers still works and he bought it in 1960. Fossil ruined a beautiful watch. Most disappointing watch I have ever purchased.

they are so beautiful, to me
I have "2" originals ( Sea Wolf ) from my tour in Viet Nam. Cracked the crystal on one and had the good sense to send it home. My folks took it in to the local jeweler to restore it ( Great foresight ). Bought the 2nd one from a guy who was going to ETS and said it only brought him 'bad vibes.' That one went with me for the last half of the tour. To "us guys' who served in combat, in VN, these watches were tough as well as great looking divers watches.Glad they have maintained a 'fine tradition' in Swiss watch making. These suckers are BEAUTIFUL, to me.
