Perfect Replacement
The old battery box became brittle and shattered. I have had this one up there almost a year now and it seems to be hanging in there. Looks good, great fitment. I would buy again.

RV Battery box upgrade
This box is design to work with external venting not included. You will also need the mounting and lead hardware but the final result is a nice clean and vented to the outside battery box. I also built a sliding tray that the battery box is mounted on. Now I can open the battery box door on the side of the RV and slide the battery box out for service. This battery box was part of a nice little upgrade on my old travel trailer.

I sent it back. Not as large as expected. Battery with cables could not close lid.

The size posted in the Details section is not the size of the battery that will fit.
A 31M Interstate AGM will not fit even though the details say 15.5 x 12.2 x 8.6 inches. Apparently this is the size of the shipping box. I had to return the one I received. The details should include the size of the battery that will fit, but do not.

Does not fit size 29 battery
Should do what it's supposed to but bought hoping it would fit my size 29 Marine battery, well it fit but couldn't even get a sheet of paper in between wall and battery, wires would be impossible to route. Seller should be specific about which battery it fits

Pretty durable.
Although the product description listed it as slightly larger than the one I had in the RV it turned out to be exactly the same size and is the identical unit that was in the RV for over a decade. Pretty durable.
