Not water or dirt resistance
Solenoid work great until I went splashing and some mud puddles. Not water or dirt resistance. Will need to seal up with some glue if playing in water. Stop working after one day. But would definitely buy again.

Edit: this is a terrible part. When I installed it worked great that day. Then after that I had to jump the solenoid to get it to start. Working one time was just a waste of time and money.Original post: I own a 1996 Yamaha Timberwolf 250 4x4This works, plug/ connection to the wiring harness is correct. But if your looking at the picture I posted then you will see that it looks like it’s mounted wrong going off what oem looks like. This one is different it mounts with the terminals facing up instead of out like oem. This is not just like oem but the function is. I am happy with it. It worked for me. I would buy again if needed.
