You can say this about the life of Stanley Dance: he did it his way. Unfortunately, his way never took getting old into account. Now, the former boxer is on his last legs, looking for redemption... but he’ll settle for going down swinging. Roll the dice with superstar artist Dan Panosian as he creates a bold and breathtaking vision of Las Vegas, where everything old can become new, and superstition influences just how the chips fall. If you love stories about boxing, gambling, or just good drama, this is the book for you. It should be a movie, and I would watch it. Review: A freaking fantastic comic book - Seriously, a wonderful comic book. A lovely change of pace. Well worth it. Great art, great story, a solid purchase.

book of the year!
Slots is an original, a highly entertaining book, a fun-ride through the seedy Vegas underbelly. Filled with surprises, including a vast array of characters that you might expect to encounter in Sin City (or if you live in Vegas) perhaps a few you already know. Slots is beautifully illustrated and highly recommended. Dan Panosian is equally adept at writing an amazing story, creating interesting characters & amazing illustrations. In short, Dan is excellent at storytelling, an incredible artist and one of the most talented individuals working in comics today. Slots was the most entertaining read of the year for me.

As well written as it is drawn!
Dan Panosian is one of the brightest stars working in comics today. Not only is his art work lavish and beautiful, his writing is surprisingly complex and subtle. In Slots he has hidden a heartbreaking story of fathers and sons beneath a badass tale of con-jobs and mixed martial arts.
