CHEFLY Mandolin Slicer

I tried to use the slicer, not the French fri cutter or julienne. When I I had tried it it would not slice properly and got jammed up. I asked my husband to try and he had the same results. Unfortunately I will be having to return the item as it is not functioning properly

This mandolin slicer is fine for my purposes- occasional use for holiday recipes. It's quite large and built sturdily. However, I feel that the blade could be sharper and the cutting process could feel smoother. I recently used this to slice potatoes for au gratin, and I had a lot of trouble getting the blade through the potato.

This is product is simply outstanding, easy to use with different abilities to make everything from French fries to julienne carrots to potato chips. Very sharp and a breeze to clean. We love it.

Love this. My husband has used it several times.
