Great Product!
I bought this for a long day of travel by plane. It worked perfectly. I had no issues through security at the airports either. It was a great fit for my medicine, kept it cold and easy to transport. I recommend buying the portable charger and case that you can buy with it for long trips.

Works as advertised
When following their instructions (esp regarding need for air to be able to circulate while operating fan) works great to keep content cool. No problems going through TSA at airport, provided pack is still frozen. With a carrying holster (purchased separately) easily transportable. Great asset for anybody who needs to move long distances while transporting temperature sensitive medications.

Works great
I really like this for road trips. The USB is a life changer. The size made it easy to take anywhere and sturdy. It did seem to keep it cool enough while the car was stopped for meals.

The frozen biogel works very well but the fan attachment is not efficient.
I bought this product to carry my insulin pens on a trip to Europe. The pros: the outside canister is great. It is metal so can't break, large enough to hold the biogel plus 3 Lyumjev and 2 Lantus solostar pens. The biogel really does last a long time (long enough for a flight from San Francisco to Milan with a 2 hour layover). Cons: the cap with the fan and charging cord doesn't really do much. The fan has started up consistently, but without the frozen biogel, it doesn't really cool the container down. Also, the insulin pens get really cold if they are placed right next to the frozen biogel. I wasn't sure if they might freeze, so I wrapped the biogel in one layer of bubble wrap. This reduced the number of pens the container holds from six to five. But since five pens are more than enough for my trip, that wasn't a problem for me. Summary: Overall, I love this product since I have spent years carrying my pens onto planes with frozen water bottles, etc. I've read reviews that said the container is too big, but I found the size to be just right. It fits easily into my small backpack. I guess the peace of mind it brings is it's greatest benefit. It just needs a better fan.

Great Product
It is just what was advertised. It is a bit large, but the ad says so. It is sturdy, and the USB charger does work well for cooling the thermos. Let's see how it works on a long trip.

Indispensable for Traveling with Temperature-Sensitive Medication
I find this 4ALLFAMILY Explorer Cooler Travel Case, with its USB-powered cooling fan built into the lid and included ice pack, indispensable for traveling with temperature-sensitive medication. With the ice pack inside, it can just fit three Mounjaro pens. My primary use is keeping my medication within the required temperature range while traveling on trains, airplanes, and in taxis. Because the 4ALLFAMILY Explorer Cooler does not have a built-in thermostat, I purchased an HT.w Bluetooth temperature sensor on Amazon and keep it inside the cooler next to the ice pack. It allows me to monitor the temperature on my iPhone. To maintain my preferred range of 35โ45ยฐF, I manually connect and disconnect the cooling fan from a USB-C power bank based on the temperature reading. I was surprised by how effective the fan built into the lid is. With the ice pack inside, the fan can lower the temperature below freezing. During my summer trip through Europe, with outdoor temperatures reaching as high as 98ยฐF, I was able to keep my medication consistently within the 35โ45ยฐF range. One important observation: with the ice pack inside and the fan running continuously, the temperature can actually drop below 35ยฐF. Since there is no built-in thermostat to regulate the fan automatically, I monitor the temperature and turn the fan on and off as needed. Overall, I consider it an essential part of traveling with my temperature-sensitive medication.

Does a great job keeping medicine cool for a couple days!
I bought this for an overseas trip. I take a weekly shot that needs to be refrigerated. Took it out of the fridge right before we left for the airport, put it in this cooler with the ice pack and the usb lid. I plugged it in to a charger for the airport ride, unplugged it for tsa security, then plugged it back in. The plane had a plug, so I utilized that on the plane for 6 hours. Once landed, I plugged it back into the charger. At the hotel I used a usb plug to keep it running. I left on a Friday night and on Monday morning, it was still cool. Not cold and the ice pack was defrosted, but it was definitely cool inside the container and the medicine was still cool as well. We went to Ireland in the fall, so we did not have super high temperatures to combat. Taking it through US security, they wanted it opened to verify it wasn't a water bottle. Bringing it back, they just put it in a machine to test for whatever (explosives?). it traveled well, super easy to use, withstood our travel. I highly recommend this product.

For the price, it should have done a better job.
Keeps things cool but not for the 72 hours listed. For the price, it should do a better job. This would have been perfect for longer trips without a fridge but it missed the mark.

Very good
This is an excellent product for traveling with medications that need to be kept chilled. With different methods to keep the meds cool (biogel pack, USB charger) it is versatile. I used it to travel around Europe, plugging it in the USB port in the car and on the plane. Having a power bank would be useful for places where plug-in outlets are not available. Be sure to check how many tubes of your specific medication that the canister can accommodate. I needed to buy two in order to be able to travel with my meds.

Good to travel with and perfect for a power outage.
Great back up when the house lost power and good to travel with on a plane. No problem through security. Just needed to unplug from charger for take offs and landings. Cabin staff kept meds cold in their fridge during this time as we were on a long flight around the world 36 hours door to door. Also used an additional battery pack especially for this type of operation. Again not allowed during take offs and landings. Should have bought a holster for the canister as if I didnโt keep a close eye on it, it would slip inside my bag and would block the cooling fan vents. Not good as the meds wouldnโt keep cool.
