This is the best pasta you will ever have. The brand itself is stellar. If you are used to the typical store brands, you may be shocked at the thickness and heartiness of it. But if you are in a very fine Italian restaurant in the US or in Italy, this is the level of quality you will experience. The pasta is the star. Not meant to be merely covered up by a thick sauce, you will bite into it and IT will be the experience. Al dente with structure. Do not overcook. Do not undercook. Definitely salt your pasta water nicely. You will be very very happy. Take a look at the enclosed picture, courtesy of Giada de Laurentiis. I made this dish, and everyone is still swooning over it. It *is* worth the price.

This pasta is the original rigatoni. They are perfect for a carbonara or a red sauce. I use them all the time. They need to be cooked a little longer but are worth the wait.

Paccheri pasta is kinda like extra large rigatoni.Dry Paccheri pasta is quite fragile.A competitors product had maybe 5 or 6 pasta completly shattered.67 pasta in this 500 gram (1,1 lb ) package with only one slightly damaged.Aldi used to market a rigatoni & pesto package with featuring extra large pasta.I've been looking for a large rigatoni replacement for a long time.I think this will be a good substitute for me and will likely buy again in the future.Pasta dimensions are about 1" diameter with varying length from 1.5 to 2.0"

I understand there is a cost for importing, especially during a pandemic. However, the reality is that pasta is made of flour and water. This box of pasta cost less than $00.50 (fifty cents) to make, including the packaging. It is delicious, however.Conclusion: Two stars because the pasta is delicious, but is it worth being ripped off? 3 stars off say, "No, even if it's imported."
