Blurry image over a long distance
Didn't work over a long distance. My lan cable is over 10m long. The image was blurry. In the end I bought a different module for display port over lan and it worked perfectly. I expect this device would work over shorter distances, so choose carefully of you want to run over long distances and make sure you minimise interference on the lan cable.

Shielded CAT 7 cable must be used
Cat7 cable should be used, otherwise you will pick up stray interference as we did with an external vertical run of just 15 feet. Our Cat 5 cable acted as an antenna.

Needs power
No dice at 60 feet. Using cat5e. Going to try a poe injector to push video from NVR to kitchen monitor. Fingers crossed.

Because only female connections are allowed to be panel mounted here.Very happy with this product overall.
