In Houston, I just rode an hour under a clear sky on a paved trail in 102 degree heat. I started with a bottle full of ice water. Considering the direct heat, heat radiating off the pavement, and very warm wind, I was hoping to have ice water through about half the ride. To my amazement, I had some ice in the bottle at the end of the ride...SHOCKING! On a day like today, the ice in my old, non-insulated water bottle would have melted in about 5 minutes and I would have been drinking warm water after 10 minutes.The wide mouth of this bottle made it extremely easy to put ice in the bottle. I highly recommend this bottle.

I bought this water bottle to try it out…i had read review claiming that it did keep the water cold and some other reviews claiming it was no better than “ regular” water bottles… so I went on an hour bike ride today with this bottle and my other “regular” water bottle. I put equal amounts of ice in each bottle. By 30 minutes the regular water bottle was barely cold and all the ice had melted. THIS pro water bottle…. The water was still ICE cold! By the hour mark..the water inside this bottle was still COLD and the ice was still frozen! This bottle does what it says. I will be ordering another to go along with the first one! Buy one!

I have tried several bottles and this one keeps things simple but effective.1. The spout does not leak!2. The spout is designed well to be able to open with mouth/teeth while on bike.3. The spout is removable for cleaning.4. The hook is very helpful at times when grapping to go or even sometimes on the bike5. The opening for filling is wide6. There are not a bunch of nooks and crannies that are difficult to clean.7. The one drawback is not in function but advertising. It is labeled as a insulated bottle. I am not sure how there is any insulation but if there is, it is a very small amount. I don't really care because even the claimed best of the insulated cycling bottles have very little limited ability to insulate without sacrificing alot of space.8. The shape lends itself to putting in cage easier and it is easy hold.

One photo on the Amazon website shows this water bottle with a ring that made it easier to carry. All the pro bike tool insulated water bottles used to come with a plastic ring for carrying it or hooking it on to something. The “new” version arrived last week from Amazon without a ring. Now, to carry it into a meeting, I have to put it in my shoulder bag or stuff it in a pocket rather than simply loop it over my finger and carry it easily. : (

Purchased these bottles as I was tired of my water getting warm. Left for a 25 mile ride on a 90+ day. Filled one half ice and one all ice then filled with water. Til the last mile the water was still cold in the bottle with the full ice, granted the ice had melted. But I was shocked at 10 miles when I grabbed the one I half way filled and it still had Ice.Definitely worth it to be able to have cold water your entire ride

Works great. Double lined does offer a bit of insulation. Wide opening is great to drop in ice cubes for long rides on hot days. Also keeps your water from freezing quickly in sub zero temps, however keep the valve open as it will freeze shut.
