Battery life is as described. I used with iPhone, iPad, QRP ham radio, flashlight, and lantern. Works great if battery is charged. Charging battery with only solar cells take long time. Well designed and durable. Flashlight is adequately bright for normal uses Size is excellent—-about like a fat cellphone. USB ports may need an adapter for older iPhone or iPad as USB A and USB C ports need lightning adapter to work. Good price. Great quality and design. Recommended

I already wrote a review but Amazon deleted it I guess. Mine came in a few days ago, it was at 2 blue lights, which means 25 to 50 percent charged. I managed to top up my phone twice on that, maybe 80% total charge.It does say it's charging as long as there's any sunlight coming into a room which speaks very well for it, but I have yet to see it fully charge from sunlight.Left it charging near the window all day yesterday from 0% and it didn't even get to 25%But, it was enough for the light to work last night, which is crucial in an emergency.I will have to run a test from 0% , charging all day in indirect sunlight or cloudy sky, and see how long the flashlight will work on continuous run.Taking a trip to farm soon in Upstate NY, so will definitely be testing it out there.I only just got it so I will definitely be updating my review over time.So far I f****ng love it.EDIT November 2019:Its going well so far. however, as a solar charger it doesnt always seem to soak up the suns energy. Ive tested it a few times on very clear days and it doesnt always seem to charge. I dont know if this is an issue with my specific one or if its the model entirely. Which is sad for me as i want to use as much clean energy as i can. As a backup charger however its great, i can use my phone all day and keep charging it with this and never need to plug into a wall.Will keep testing it with solar charging, and update again.EDIT:I was able to charge it by sun on a few occasions during an emergency and then charge my phone enough on it to make calls and send texts.I love this piece, I take it on every trip, even take out with me often locally, and its one of the best electronic Investments. I'm so grateful for this. And were on year 5 now. It's my trusty companion.

I purchased 2 of these solar power banks. One for my home and one for my travel trailer. I have used them on several occasions during a power outage to charge my phone, tablet, solar lights, weather radio and more. They work great, they charge pretty quickly and they are pretty powerful. Got this for my husband. It was on his Christmas list. He plans to use it for hunting season, so he hasn’t actually tried it out yet. But it’s compact and will be easy to carry. I will update once he has actually tried it out, but it is exactly as pictured.
