This dress is true to size! I ordered a large because I'm a size 8/10. I'm tall, 5'11, and thank God this dress was long enough!! All the other dresses I liked weren't long enough for me. I had on a decent size heel and it still covered my feet. The underarm sequins were itchy but manageable. I absolutely LOVED the sewn in necklace, very clever! I couldn't stop getting compliments all night, I attended a formal work gala. This dress was awesome! And yes it arrived right on time as well.

I cannot begin to describe how beautiful this dress is. I ordered the "gold" and it is absolutely GORGEOUS. It was worth every penny! While I have purchased some other clothing items on Amazon before, this was the first time I purchased a formal dress - and I was so worried. But I saw all the positive reviews and customer photos and thought I'd take a chance - and I am so glad I did! Not only does it seem well-made, but it's actually heavy (in a good way)! This is not cheap, flimsy material that feels like a Halloween costume from Walmart - it's got some weight and some substance to it! The detail is impeccable, the shine is brilliant, the fit is amazing! Talk about hugging you in all the right places! I showed some pictures to my friend and she was like "don't ever take that dress off. Wear it for the rest of your life." I have another one on the way (one of the white ones). It won't get here for a few weeks, but I know it will be worth the wait (the one I currently have took about a week, and it was *definitely* worth the wait). A few notes: This dress is not stretchy, but it isn't uncomfortable, in my opinion. I'm not sure that you'd be able to do any serious dancing in it (aside from slow dancing) - but if you're just trying to look amazing and aren't planning on "getting down" - this may be the dress for you. I used the size chart in the pictures - not the Amazon size chart. I measured my bust, waist, and hips and used my hip measurement because it's the widest of all 3. This caused me to have to go up about 2 dress sizes (I'm normally about an 8 and I ordered a 12) - it fits me perfectly EXCEPT I will have to get the waist taken in (but I was expecting this - I always have to get my waist taken in). Ladies, if you're on the fence, I'm here to push you off it! BUY THIS DRESS! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!

I'm 5'6", 115-120 lb, 30d bra. I measured and came out between a 2 and 4 - 4 for waist and hips, 2 for bust. I am normally a 0, but I followed the chart and recommendations and ordered a 4. Sure enough, the 4 fits perfectly in the waist and pretty well in the hips (might have been able to go a little smaller there), and is definitely loose in the torso. I probably could have squeezed into a 2, but it would have been super tight on my waist. And yes, the dress has *no* stretch, especially in the torso and waist, so there isn't any leeway there.I ordered the Royal Blue and the color is rich and vibrant and the sparkle from the sequins is amazing. The sequins are small and don't look cheap to me. The dress looks even better in person than I had expected, and the quality is definitely great for the price.My main complaints are the mesh and zipper.Mesh: There's just so much of the mesh up around the chest, neck and back, and it's a course mesh. It just looks odd to me, especially since it's a little lighter than my tan brown skin. My plan is to get it altered to reduce the mesh, but the necklace part is super cool looking and really adds to the dress, so I'm trying to decide exactly what to do. I have a couple ideas, but we'll see what a tailor says.Zipper: The zipper is *really* hard to get up and down, even when the dress is just lieing on my bed, because the sequins come right up to the zipper area and squeeze in on it's movement. It's worth it because it looks nice once the zipper is up - there's no gap in the sequin work where the zipper is - but be prepared to really work at it to get it up and down (possibly have someone help you get into it). Because the zipper is a fine dress zipper, I was really nervous about breaking it the first couple of times I pulled the zipper up and down. (It does seem to get a little easier every time, so maybe the trick is to do up and down a few times before trying it on?)Gorgeous dress and definitely worth the price!

Love this dress! Looks super elegant and fancy. Everyone though it cost hundreds because it’s made so well not cheap looking. Overall I’m very picky with dresses to wear to formal parties and I would say at a dress store this would be a $400 or more dress! So beautiful in person. True to size, I needed to order it for an event that was within a week so I had to go a size up (which was the only one around my size available for prime’s 2 day delivery), then had it altered. If I had more time I would’ve totally ordered it in my actual size of 14. I’m 36,33,44 inches (bust,waist,hips) measurements and got the size 16 and had it altered down, I could’ve totally gotten away with the size 14, so order the dress according to your actual measurements with the chart they provide.

This dress is awesome. I had to return it because it was missing a pattern of the sequins in the front of the dress and it was too obvious. The top part felt a little bit itchy but I wouldn’t have mind that much since the quality an the look of the dress it’s just like the picture. It does run small. It is a beautiful dress!!!

Wow!! I had a difficult time selecting the color and size of this dress. I ended up purchasing both the black and red dress versions... and I wasn’t disappointed by either. The black is very formal and beautiful, but was a little too formal for the event I was going to. The red is simply outstanding and fun! I wore this dress to a New Year’s Eve party and received a steadyStream of compliments! Total strangers would come up and admire my dress. It was simply stunning and eye catching. I also liked the red better then the black because the design could easily be seen from a distance. Don’t hesitate to buy this dress it’s high quality and a total show stopper. You will be the star of any party!
