This has been a great little trash can. The inner can fits a plastic grocery store bag just perfectly. I use mine in my tiny kitchen, the lid fits snugly so it keeps any smells contained. There is a bit of rust appearing in the screws on the inside (where moisture might be found) but I don't care. It's easy to clean, looks nice and works well.

I live in an area with industrial composting so I need a large compost bin in my kitchen. The compost bins marketed as such are either way too small or poor quality. This works great bc is has the removable pail with handle for carrying outdoors, and it is the right size for large kitchen compost bags.

Not impressed. The lid is thin and has no inner support. The dent the lid arrived with will probably get a few friends since the lid is cheaply made. The lid does close softly so that is a plus. The inner plastic liner seems sturdy. The plastic liner also has a handle but not quite sure how useful it'll be since it'll always be covered by a trash can liner. The lid opens fully and stays open making it easy to remove the inner plastic liner. Sadly this plastic liner does not have a hole where you push in the excess garbage bag so it's held tight and looks nice. The can is totally open at the bottom so is worthless without the plastic inner liner. Even though it has a number of negatives it is still a good trash can. It does a good job.

Nice trash can. Soft close lid. Replaced a slightly smaller similar version. Have to say, this is much nicer.

This soft-close small can lives outside. I line it with a plastic bag and use to collect my dogs droppings for easy disposal on garbage day. It has survived two harsh and snowy winters in Montana and has not rusted and the soft close still works well. Great product.

I used to use the little 3 gallon plasti trash cans and I wanted something bigger and better.; This a great trashcan. The lid that automatically closes is smooth and slow and has a quiet landing. The liner has a removeable bin that you can pull out and empty...so glad I went ahead and got these for our bathrooms.
