i bought my first Mouli Julienne forty years ago when I saw it on a TV infomercial. Back then there was no internet or Amazon. I have used it frequently ever since then. It was fabulous. But recently the knob on the crank disintegrated with age.I thought it was all over and was very sad until I though to look on Amazon. And there it was, so I ordered it immediately. And is even better than my first one! It's a great little device. It is so much easier to use and clean than a food processor, quiet, and simplicity itself to clean. It's very fast and efficient. I plan to get one for my grandchildren to use. They are starting to help my daughter in the kitchen and I think they will really have fun with it. It is quite safe. Great well-made product!

Works great, this is my second one. Lost handle for original one and I really missed using it. This is a perfect replacement. Now im back in business!

Great kitchen tool for slicing and dicing veggies, cheese, etc. More than enough choices of "blades." One minor complaint is cleaning cheese out from the underside after grating takes extra time.

Fabulous,easy to use tool and least to take apart for cleaning and storauge andl easy to chage discs for meat,cheese, graitingveggie slicing ,gakrlic ajnd ginger so easy,easy to clean ,can be used with catch cup but i do lost every thing with wax paperor parchment paper or beeswax paper depending on use and it is is so easy to crank out,so fast! I just love it.

The crank is too small and too low. Every rotation strikes the hand compressing the food so you have to hold it very awkwardly. The blades came very dull, bruising the vegetables instead of cutting them. The Westmark version of this mouli was better designed and easy to use, but is no longer available. I will keep looking for a better model as I use this shredder weekly.

Best gadget in the world for grating hard cheese, especially if you like Italian food topped with Parmesan or other cheeses.

I was going to replace my vintage Mouli gadget that's more than 50 years old, one of the first ones ever available at a local Oktoberfest in Altötting in Germany by my mother whom I persuaded to buy it for Christmas cookie ingredients. The thing is made of metal and is has worked and worked and worked ever since although it's slightly rusty and needs to be Cleaned and bent into shape before every use. I tried the new one and several others, none have come close to the sharpness of the vintage specimen. I gave the new one away, tried several others. Still looking for a replacement. The new ones work but not well. I have not found any new metal ones so far.

My family had a similar one when I was a kid. Didn't know they were still around. Best grater ever!
