Quality product, works great and makes lattes too!
I love this product. I've been wanting an immersion blender for some time now for soups and it works great for that. I've made creamy butternut squash soup that was fantastic. The big selling point for me on this one compared to others was the milk frother and I'd been eyeing expensive espresso machines (they run around $1000) just so I could make a nice latte. I wasn't sure how well this froth but my steamed milk comes out just as good as the coffee shop with the attachment included here. At $5 a pop for a latte this thing will pay for itself in no time. It does take up more space than it's competition because of the attachments but it's got a nice container for everything. It's also a quality product. It's sturdy in your hand and you can tell it will last. My preference is to spend more and get a long life out of a product than replace junk every few years. All in all, worth the money and the space it takes up.

Works fabulously and has really stepped up since our blender is currently not working!
I purchased this product for my husband who has been wanting one for awhile now. He was only looking at the basic ones in store so since it was a gift I splurged a little bit and got him one with extras. The one I bought was the contour version that had everything included except for the second longer shaft. I figured most of the time he won't need that and if he decides later it is something he needs we can purchase it separately. Most of the time he's working in smaller pans, bowls and dishes. So far all the pieces he has been using work just as described and he is really enjoying learning all the different ways he can use it. It kind of overwhelmed him at first with all the pieces and figuring out what they can do but now that he's been experimenting and learning he's finding what they can be used for and finds them all to be great accessory pieces. His main uses right now are creamy soups and smoothies. He usually juices and then uses some of the juice and various other ingredients in the regular blender to make me daily smoothies. However the regular blender recently stopped working in the middle of him making a smoothie. At first he was worried about what to do, then he remembered all the stuff he has been using this hand immersion blender for and decided to see if it would work to finish up the mix and it sure did! He was so happy that he had this on hand. He is trying out so many new recipes now that he has it and thinks it is a wonderful product for any kitchen to have.

Love this kitchen appliance!
One of the best kitchen tools I've ever used. Absolutely perfect for food preparation; we use it for making soup, to puree food, and protein and milk shakes, and smoothies! One of the best go-to tools I've ever used. The kit comes with essential accessories all very nicely made and easy to clean. I am impressed with the power in the handle motor unit. Seems to be able to handle all of our kitchen chores; and the only downside is that it doesn't handle stringier produce or meat. Other than that - A+

Nice.
I had been looking at immersion blenders for a while, checking prices, reading reviews. I had also had been looking at food processors, because mine hit the wall (figuratively. Literally, it hit the floor) and I rely on it heavily. I decided to get this little beauty because I am easily coerced into buying things based on brand recognition. I had no idea that I was going to kill two birds with one blender (not really "birds." More like one soup, one salsa). It works great. The carrying case makes me feel important when I take it out, and I have the urge to say something like, "step back. I'll handle this."We have a smoothie blender for smoothies, so I haven't tried it for that, but I've done soups, salad dressings, sauces, chutneys and salsas and it works like a dream. Clean up is easy, it feels sturdy, and it gets the job done. The cord is slightly annoying, it completely gets in the way of me pretending it's a magic wand, but it isn't, it's a kitchen tool, so I'll just suffer that one out in relative silence.

WOW almost a commercial grade hand blender
This is really a bargain for a Hand Blender. I have used the big Waring Hand "Motor boat blenders" and frankly that are just too big for home use. Great in a commercial kitchen. So went looking for a good hand blender - the reviews of this hand blender were overall good - so took a chance. WOW this tool came with all of the needed accessories and a few that might come in handy later. But in the basic mode it works great. Created great soups and gravy's, and with a quick blend great beans just right with plenty of control to not over blend. The whip really makes a great whipping cream and whipped egg whites. And made several different salad dressings and flavored mayonnaise.Overall a great kitchen tool. Now the question is will it last as long as the last hand blender - almost 10 years of heavy use. Will provide an update on that later.
