Dansko Women's Bess Dress Pump

Lightly cushioned and very comfortable. I really need support for my feet. I tried several flats that had no support at all then tried these and I'm very happy with them. I was able to stand at work for half the day in these as well. They are smaller than a USA size 8 as they are Euro sized, but still comfortable.

These are great shoes and I have been very pleased with them so far. I was forced to look at shoes of this type to help with extreme back pain from herniated disks and 3 pinched nerves. Standing on my feet all day is my only option to combat the pain so finding good shoes was critical. Note, these are NOT CUSHY AT ALL but the arch support is phenomenal. My heels still ache a bit by the end of the day but overall these are extremely comfortable for long term standing. They are meant to fit loosely and the heels should be loose as well. I normally wear a 7.5 standard width shoe but for these had to go up to a 39 as opposed to the recommended 38 in order to accommodate my high arches. This style is pretty enough to wear with dresses if a little "clunky" looking. I figure the comfort outweighs any vanity I sacrifice.

They fit my foot perfectly. My toes are not crammed; there is plenti of room. And they look professional for my job yet they are stylish too. I just had a small blister form on the heel of only one of my feet, but I don't blame that on the Shoemaker or the style of the shoe like everyone else seems to do. It is just my foot and the way it is shaped. I'm very flat-footed. I'm giving this shoe five stars. The leather is extremely high quality and the overall shoe is perfect

I am a size 5 and this shoes is way to big for me, I ordered a 36. I need to return them. Too bad, because it is a beautiful shoe. I have ordered a 36 in Dansko before (other style) with no problem.

The gray ones scuffed horribly (removed the upper layer of material) first day I wore them. The other colors I ordered haven't done that. SUPER-comfortable. But I can't wear the gray ones because they are ruined! Drat.

This cute shoe fits true to size and comfortably, it's a shame that the styling makes it unwearable. The ankle strap cuts into your foot as you walk. I was hoping that it could be adjusted with the velcro, but in order to do this you have to move the strap so far forward that 90% of the velcro is exposed, leaving nothing to attach the strap to the shoe.Save yourself the hassle of a return and pass this one by.

I really like these shoes, and still hope to fall in love with them, but they're not perfect. If you're considering buying these shoes look carefully at the photo of the instep side, and note how high up toward your ankle-bone they hit. I ended up adding gel heel inserts to get my ankles up high enough to avoid chafing there, and while that workaround prevents chafing it also causes the ankle strap to fall across my foot *way* too high and thus poufs out on the sides a bit. I'm hoping that as the leather softens this problem will go away, as they are otherwise timeless versatile shoes that can work with almost any look. They're even a bit sophisticated (especially for Danskos).

Love dansko. Plain and simple. It is an elegant and well made pair of mary janes made of quality leather. It can be dressed up with a skirt and cardigan or even worn with skinny jeans and a long shawl or tunic.Cant wait to wear with socks in the fall.I would consider sizing up however if you have wide feet or want to wear thick socks, as the front vamp is low.The only gripe is that it can fold when walking and that made a small crease on the shoe. I suppose it gives it some character.4.5 stars rounded up.
