I love that this collar is a true deep red. I can certainly confirm its durability, as our dog has put it to the test over the last few months. It also stays in place when adjusted, which is nice.

This is the 3rd collar I've bought, and I'll be buying a few more in different colors as well! Our adult female great dane looks great in the hot pink, after a year the collar is still working well but the color has finally faded so she gets a new one since our new dane puppy now gets his own big boy collar.I toss in a pillow case then put in the machine when I'm washing towels so they do wash well, hopefully these new ones last as long. They do seem to have the same quality as far as sturdiness and stitches go. The clasp is nice and shiny, I like the metal clasp better than the plastic ones, especially for great danes, however, don't expect them to stay looking shiny for long as they will and do get scratches on the clasp.The leash/ID loop is also solid and sturdy, I only use this for leashes though as I keep tags on a tag keeper to make trading collars easy. These are my favorite daily collars for our dogs, they look nice and stay secure.* Updated 12/2/17 - Last two I just bought were perfect (teal & pink), bright and shiny. Just purchased another in the light ocean blue for changing things up every once in awhile. Excellent collars and great price!

This collar is well made, heavy material, the metal latch is easy to operate, it probably won't break like most plastic ones do. The sz. small fits my 11.5 lb Poodle very well, I was afraid it would be a little heavy and bothersome but she's been wearing it for a couple of mos. and it doesn't seem to bother her at all.

I was attracted to this collar because of the variety of colors. I had doubts about the metal buckle because we're used to having the plastic HOWEVER the metal buckle is so much easier to use, easier to open and to close. I also love the fact that it is made in USA! The collar is just the right width and the material is sturdy. A win win all around.

This is my second collar purchased from Country Brook. The first collar (about 2 years ago) is sturdy and strong. I have a 100lb Caucasian Sheppard who is strong and fast and the old collar is strong enough to handle it.BUT, this most recent collar appears to be made of a lighter material. She snapped it the second day. Fortunately, I also had her harness on and she paid attention to the "stop" command. I guess it is cheaper to make this out of lighter materials but that defeats the purpose. I won't make the mistake of buying another one.

This is the 6th collar bought so far. Our danes wear the same size (still growing though) so we are able to switch collars back and forth. I use a tag holder to attach the tags leaving the D ring available for the leash, this makes it so much easier if I need to wash or trade collars. These collars are very nice, they are well made, sturdy, and look great!! When they get dirty I toss them into a pillowcase and throw them in the wash and they come out nice and clean.

Ordered a large royal blue collar last year, and just getting ready to order two more collars now. We have a large 100 lb chocolate lab. This collar has lasted perfectly from last summer until now. Buying two new colors now, only to add more colors, the original blue collar we bought last year is still in great condition. Our lab was 6 mos last year and the ability to make the adjustments to fit him as he grew were great. The metal clasp was the original reason I bought the collar. The plastic clasp collars did not last for our big labs. Highly recommend the quality of this collar!

I bought this in September 2020 for $13.95 and paid full price. As I review products if the product works as is advertised and the quality is in line with the price then I give it five stars tentatively, then deduct stars for usability problems, functionality problems, flaws, quality, etc.First thing I would say is take the time to measure. Our dog is 60 pounds and generally for "dog sizes" would be a large. But I didn't measure, and just went ahead and ordered a large size. Its too big and not really close. I just cinched it up though and went on with life.This collar seems very sturdy. The clasp "clicks" in a way that feels solid, and you can tell that materials used were at a minimum not lightweight or hollow. Its like the difference between closing an expensive car door and a cheap car door, if that makes sense.Appearance is five stars. People like the bright color (we got the red one) and the one-inch band seems to be perfect.Quality and functionality have also been as expected. The collar is easy to buckle, the spring loaded mechanism seems strong and the adjustment loops have not deformed.A collar is something that is pretty easy to replace at your local pet store, and that has the advantage of allowing you to see and feel the product ahead of time. For the same price range, this feels heavier duty than one I would have bought locally, but I wish I would have measured.

This seems like a really well constructed collar. I have no fears about it stretching or my big old boy being able to extricate himself from it (which he has done with other collars before - a nightmare). Would definitely recommend.
