works exactly as described can see i did a few cases to test it out these are LC military brass and installing the primer after trimming and removing the crimp was so easy but still fit nice and snug but i no longer had problems with crushing the primers do to the crimp

Not The Sharpest Tool in The Shed. Literally.
RCBS makes some of the best reloading equipment in the industry. With that being said, this product did not work for me. After about five cases it stopped cutting. It had brass built up on the cutting edge. I used a small pick to remove the brass and put a drop of cutting oil on it hoping it would prevent the brass from sticking. Nope. I removed the brass once again and checked the cutting edge under 10x magnification. The cutting edge had rounded at the point where it is supposed to cut the primer pocket. If I were to guess, I would say mine wasn't hardened properly or at all. Mistakes will be made and I'll still purchase RCBS products but It will be a while before I try this one again.

Works easier than RCBS swager & more consistently with no setup
No guesswork or constant readjusting for different brass. Very consistent results. Can be used hand held (very slow & don't recommend for volume de-crimping), but recommend cutting off a section of cleaning rod to about 1 inch & threading it into that & putting in a handheld drill. Makes quick work of removing the crimp. I recommend using a Ballistic Tools swage gauge to confirm primer pocket will receive a new primer and is not too large. They are available for around $10 & a really worthwhile investment to make sure primer pockets are within specs for re-priming. I've seen some reviews that say the tool dulls with use, but so far so good, and if it does dull in the future I'll reboot with another. Do NOT buy the Lyman tool. I have it and it does NOT remove the crimp well enough to consistently seat new primers.

Don't expect to ream 1000 cases fast
I mounted my new RCBS 90386 TM Military Crimp remover into a miniature lathe, hoping for Fast processing.Reaming out the pockets was SLOW, like 6 seconds each, to top that off after about 500 cases the cutter was getting dull, so got slower. Don't waste your money go straight to the Hornady Primer Pocket Swage Tool. #041227 (5.56).The swage tool takes half the time ~ 3 seconds per case and does not get dull..

Gets the job done
Gets the job done. Wish it came with a drill adapter, but I found a bolt long enough to thread into the cutter and chuck it into my dewalt. Works great after that.

Works as advertised
Removes military crimps fast and easily, much better than the countersink I used to use. Not possible to remove too much material, it takes the crimp and that's all. Works by hand or in a drill; if you have a hundred cases to process use the drill, if only a few tens of cases it works by hand with a few twists.Maybe in a few years it will get dull. If that happens I'll try to edit this review. But for now, I'm happy with the tool and kicking myself for waiting so long and making do with the wrong tool for the job.

The best and cheapest option.
There are a lot of options in this department, this is quick, cheap, and does a good job. The tool bottoms on the case head, you can't cut too deeply, or cut it crooked. The primer sits below the area that's trimmed, so you don't have to worry about it taking off too much brass either. I raise the table on my bench press so that I can place the blade of my palm on it, and you just go, go, go, as quick as you can. I must be trimming somewhere around 60 per minute. Super.

Works very well. Compatible with Frankford Arsenal trim center. A bit pricey.
Pros: Works well to remove the factory crimp from small-primer military casings. The relief grooves on the sides allow it to clear out the shavings effectively. It's actually two pieces - the cutting head and a threaded post. So you can use it on either a threaded stud or in a threaded socket. Versatile and handy.Cons: Seems a bit expensive for what you're getting.Bottom line: Yes, I would buy again. It works great on my Frankford Arsenal trim center.

Perfect fit on my handle...
Perfect fit on my handle...It works flawlessly, really easy to remove the crimp and clean the sides of the primer pocket.Love this tool, saves me a lot of brass. Especially, when you pick up the brass of others at the range.Worth every bucks I paid for this accessory.

It would have been nice to have some type of holder to screw it ...
It does what it's supposed to do. It would have been nice to have some type of holder to screw it into so it could be easily held by hand. That being said, it's exactly as described.
