I have been looking and looking for the best dupe for the Longchamps LePliage bag for travel. I wanted the Longchamps look and "french girl chic", but with a few functional upgrades.This bag has exactly what I am looking for, AND for a crazy cheap price.I want a luggage trolley strap, and a cross-body strap. Non-negotiable. If this bag is packed full, I do not want to have to carry it only by the shoulder handles. Those are two features that the original La Pliage does not have, which is why I could not bring myself to pay so much for a bag that won't function how I need it to.This Bug bag is surprisingly well constructed. The fabric is quite robust and the stitching looks up to the task.I like that the interior is a light color, white with pale blue stripes, another frenchie touch that looks cute and elevates the style. The handles are plenty long to carry over the shoulder. Almost too long, for me at 5'4" but they work.The size of the bag is just right to be a real tote bag, that you could put shopping purchases into or stash a sweater and water bottles when out and about Paris. Some bags are too small to haul, but too voluminous for just a day around town. This one hits the sweet spot, size-wise. I also like that there are enough organizational pockets that make the bag functional as a work bag or huge purse, and that the padded laptop sleeve is off to one side and doesn't divide the interior of the bag in half. Although I have not used it as such yet, I believe it would have no problem going under an airplane seat.I gave it a good spray with camp dry waterproofer before my trip to keep it dry and clean.C'est parfait!

I love, love, love this bag! It’s lightweight, very roomy and stylish. It’s a great commuter bag for work or on a road trip. I took it camping too and it held a lot of my stuff very well.

Second time I have purchased this bag! First one was 6 years ago and has been all over the world with me, but it is looking a bit worn so I am buying another one. It is my favorite bag ever. I use it at home as well. Love the many pockets, padded laptop storage. Never have to rummage around to find what I want. Sooo organized yet not bulky. Looks very sharp too. Goes well with most things. Easy to clean. I highly recommend it.

I want to score it a 4.5 but that's not possible. I've had my bag a little over a year. The straps started to unravel a bit at the top and I'll figure out how to reinforce them. All in all, though, the bag works reasonably well. I haul it around to conferences and for my classes; there is plenty of room for most of what I have to carry when I teach.

This is a great very sturdy bag! It’s nice and big and fits all my work stuff I need to lug back and forth from the office!

The bag is perfect for work and fits a MacBook Pro. It’s also lightweight which is great.

I really want to love this bag, I bought it for work and travel. The bag itself holds up great, it fits everything I need including a 15 inch laptop, notebook, wallet, etc. I kind of wish there was an interior pocket or divider but it’s not a huge deal.The handles on the other hand, terrible. I’ve had the bag since September, but the handles are completely falling apparently. The “leather” comes off in strips, there are strings hanging off of them. Not good. I take it to work 2-3x a week and have taken it on 4 trips but I had higher hopes of the quality.
