These do not increase your payload capacity but helps you ride more smooth and level. When towing I usually have them inflated around 45-50 PSI. These leave about an inch of room before my heavy duty springs engage. Before these bags they were engaged and resting on the springs. When not towing I leave between 5-10 PSI in the bags even though they have the internal bumper.I installed these by myself in an afternoon (after making my special spacers, see below). The instructions were very clear and walked you through step by step. I bought a T-splice to connect the 2 air bags together and fill them through one line. I put the valve inside my fuel filler compartment to make it easy to inflate and deflate. These made the ride so much better and now my truck rides level with my heavy 5th wheel. Very happy with my purchase and definitely recommend these.Modification I had to do because I have a B&W Hitch and RWD only:I have a B&W Companion Hitch in the back and because of this I had to add a spacer to get them to fit. I don't have 4 wheel drive, if I did I wouldn't have this issue because there is more room. I had to place a 3/8 inch sheet of steel in-between the brackets for the bags and the frame of my truck to fit over the bracket to the hitch (see pictures). Other than having to do this for my specific situation these were fairly easy to install.

The air lift kit is great fit for my 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 HD. After laying out all the parts, get the wrenches to match the bolts. Be sure to have standard depth and deep well socket sets, a ratchet and pull handle and a set of metric allen wrenches. By using two 20 ton jackes to raise the frame and let the rear axle hang, remove both rear tires. Assemble the air bags per the instructions. Bolt the bags to the axle. Using a floor jack lift the axle and align the bolts on the upper mount. Tighten all bolts and torque to specifications in manual. Mount the air lines and put in at least 5 psi of air. Remove floor jack. Replace the tires and lower truck. Add air to both sides until desired height is reached not to exceed manufacturer pressure. Check for leaks. Drive and enjoy the new ride.

I thought I was going to have to change out my leaf springs because my truck was not handling the weight of my 5th wheel. When I talked with the deal, one of the reps told me I'd be better off installing an air lift system. So I looked around and bought these and the air compressor as well. Very detailed instructions, so it was easy to install. Truck rides great on it own, and now when pulling my 39ft 5th wheel, the truck does not sag as much under the weight of the trailer. Towing is smoother, and I've definitely noticed that I no longer get sucked in when big trucks are passing me. I read a couple review that say the Jounce Bumpers cause a rough ride and you feel every bump in the road. I've not noticed this on my Ram 3500 at all. Great product and highly recommend them.

Took the "squat" out of my truck with the RV hooked up. I feel much safer towing on the interstate now. Installation was simple - just follow the instructions and you're good to go in about 2 hours. I pressure tested it and it held 50 psi for 3 days. I added a "T" so there's only one fill point and that seems to work fine, too.

Huge difference in stance of vehicle just 35psi in itHitched the 4k lb trailer up an the suspension on the truck only budged slightly . I will update this review after I’ve hauled some significant weight .

Bought this for a 2017 dodge 3500. This assembly does not fit on this model if you bought the truck just cab and chassis (no stock box) I will have to figure something out as the base plate for the air bags does not butt up against leaf springs "u" bolts.

Easiest airbags I’ve installed. Dodge 2500 with welding machine and tools in bed. Pickup sits level no sagging and a smooth ride I’d buy again and also recommend to others
