Must have in tool bag
Good tool, I’m a professional plumber and I used to cut my tubing for under sink drains with a hacksaw, once I decided to purchase this tool it makes cutting those drain pipes a breeze I don’t have to worry about making sure the blade is straight for a cut because this tool does it for you.

It's only got one use, to cut tubular drain pieces.
Great product and works as designed. No mess when cutting and I don't need to grab my hackzall out of the truck anymore for lavatory jobs. It bevels the edges too. Plumber certified.

First worked great
I am a plumber who stumbled across this Ridgid tool a few months back. I read the description and thought ... gee it can't work as well as they are saying. I figured the picture of a cut plastic drain piece was actually a factory end. Well I was wrong. I don't work on sink drains every day but when I do this tool from now on will definitely be with me. Wow does it make a nice deburred cut. The only time I find it doesn't work so well is if you need to trim a 1/4 " off the end of a piece of tubing. Before I had this tool I would use a pex tubing cutter or mini hacksaw. It works but not as fast and not as clean of a cut which requires reaming or deburring. Ridgid is known for quality tools and this turned out unexpectedly to be one of them. Now I need to buy one for the boss as he was also impressed.Well the second one does not cut as straight which is really annoying. Going to take away one star for the second one I bought.

Great for trimming bathroom and kitchen sinks.
Makes clean and beveled cuts for a leak free connections. Saves time vs cutting with a saw.
