Adorable Cat Dog Kitty Puppy Safety Walking Vest Harness Leash Set Wings Costume Lace Peals (Pink, Medium)

So we have 4 dogs... yes, 4! We found Sophie earlier this year in the tire well of my car as a tiny worm and flea infested kitten and I knew she belonged to us! She has been attached to my hip since she claimed us (or our food!) Poor Soph has been an inside cat since and looks at the door longingly each time the dogs go out to do their business. Because of this and the fact that I read it's important for inside kitties to learn their homes just in case the get outside, I thought to get her a harness and leash so I could take her out with our doggies.Pros:It's adorable on herWorks for my purposesInexpensiveCons:Not made for a cat (it is made for an animal with a shorter neck... dog... it's made for a dog!)Velcro (ugh!)Colors and materials look cheapSophie looks as if she's plotting my death while in her "Angel" wings!So, upon first inspection, the package literally mentioned "pleasure" on it, which got me really weird looks from the household when I said it was for my "kitty" and the comment "Wait, what did you get the cat, you mean the CAT, right!?!??!" Ummmmm... I love how things get lost in translation.Upon taking it out, I realized it's a bit too big for my 6 pound, long limbed Tortie. It was a size XS. Yes, she's skinny, long limbed and just out of puberty. Made me think she's the feline equivalent of a Victoria's Secret model, so angel wings were perfect, no? LolMy biggest disappointment came when I saw Velcro was the main closure apparatus. I could use the little metal rings and the leash to help keep it shut but that would at least add 3 inches in width to this little outfit and Sophie would easily get through. So the Velcro was the only thing keeping it on her!So, if you're using it to keep an eye on her while in the yard with you RIGHT there, it's perfect, otherwise, I'd not recommend. Since I'm one who crafts, I'll be improving this on my own and will use it often. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase and again, my little angel looks cute (she hates me right now!) but awwww, she looks amazing!!!! Lol

This vest is absolutely adorable and very well made. It is so pretty and feminine. My cat weighs just over 10 pounds and this size fits her snuggly, but not too tight (I measured her chest before ordering). During her second walk, something spooked her and before I knew it she had swiftly turned and I was holding an empty harness! At that point, I was more freaked out than the cat, but, fortunately, she had headed straight for the patio door and to the safety of the house, so it was not a huge catastrophe. I am investing in a different style and larger harness which will cover more of her body to prevent this sort of thing from happening in the future.If your kitty is still in the early stages of outside ventures and may become frightened easily by sounds (automobiles, motorcycles, slamming doors, etc.), then I would suggest something more secure than this particular style of harness. If he or she is an experienced walker, then this vest may be just fine. I just wanted to share my experience with other pet owners, because cats are extremely flexible in their movements, especially when they are frightened. So, while this harness is extremely cute, it just may not be completely safe for your kitty if they are new to outdoor walks and/or skittish and easily frightened.

We got this in an XS as a harness for our Household Pet Show-Kitty who likes to walk on her leash. It was so cute and fits her well, without small narrow straps around her neck and waist that can cause injury if she strongly disagrees with the direction we are walking. It secures using velcro, which is not that great, but the lease loops act as an additional securing feature so no big deal. Love that it came with a leash too!The problem is, on her 2nd wearing, one of the wings started to fall off. The seam where it was sewn to the base piece just seemed to pull right off. No problem, this was inexpensive and stuff happens, so I sewed it back on.Now, after several more wearings, the other wing is falling off. I will sew that one on as well, but I feel like the quality of sewing could have been better, considering this is a product meant for an animal and 'gentle care' is just not possible on an animal.Overall, we still love it. She looks super adorable in it, and we ordered some similar ones in other colors. Hopefully the wings will stay on those.

My cat is 16 years old. This is her first harness. The need for it was prompted by a move across the country in which she was going to have to be in a moving truck for five solid days. The harness was very easy to get on so this minimized the stress. Once she had it on, I really feel like it helped to calm her down. She didn't seem to mind it one bit. Although she spent most of her time in a soft-sided carrier, we let her come out and sit on my lap. The leash on the harness allowed me to maintain control in case she got freaked out by something (which didn't happen). There was only one instance where she mysteriously got out of her harness while in her carrier but it wasn't like she was constantly trying to escape from it. We didn't know how she was going to handle this trip but she definitely earned her angel wings making this the perfect accessory for our wonderful kitty!

This is absolutely perfect! I just started walking my cat, she's an 11-year-old, I started bringing her out with just a leash but I didn't like just having it around her neck. This is wonderful! It goes on easily, velcros at the top and it has a double connection to attach the leash to. I started with a size small, but her being a 10-lb cat with a wide girth for a chest, I had to switch it for a large. The funniest thing, when I went to return the small at UPS, while I was showing them what it was instead of returning it, someone bought it from me right on the spot for his daughter! Spreading the love!
