SELS LED Real Wax Flameless Flickering Candle Set with Timer and Remote Control, Ivory (Set of 3)

Bought these before the holiday season for the purpose of adding a little ambiance to holiday dinners and other occasions.This is a set of matching LED candles, different heights but otherwise looking similar. It comes with a small remote control which many similar sets on Amazon seem to have - these might all be made from one original manufacturer for all I know.I think the candles are nice albeit basic LED candles.They look fine from a distance but feel plastic-y to the tough and are not "real wax" candles like some other brands.There is a very small remote (we have lost it already) that you really need because it lets you (and is the ONLY way I think) change the brightness and color of the candles. It can also turn them off and on. I found the remote wasn't super responsive and required multiple presses, and also not all three of the candles would always respond to the command at the same time.Without the remote, you can only turn them off and on, and set an auto-shutoff timer.The "flame" is an opaque plastic affair mounted in the candle. There is a flicker to the candles, but for me the quality is just "ok". I've seen luminara candles in stores with an actual moving plastic "wick" that the light is reflected on and I think it's a much more pleasing look - so next time I look to purchase these kinds of candles, I'll probably go for ones with that design.This set, for the price, is fine, but I'm not thrilled with them.

These are the prettiest candles I have ever owned and have owned quite a few. The flickering is so natural looking and has a warm golden glow--not too bright and not too dim. I love the remote control and so easy to use--just press on or off! All there is to it! Remember though to manually turn off your candles after using or else the batteries will drain fast for they are still programmed on the remote. This way your batteries will last much longer. I loved these so much I ordered my boyfriend a set for his home and a set for his camper and also ordered a set for some friends of mine. Order these and you will be as delighted as I was. They are made of real wax also! Love them!

I really wanted to like these candles! Unfortunately, they appear to be constructed very poorly. Two out of the three candles came defective. I was able to find out that the wiring was the cause of one of them as one of the wires was completely disconnected. I spent more time trying to fix that the entire cost of the product and was able to get it connected (although I have to take out the batteries to disconnect but it works). I also received defective batteries for one of the sets included (why I chose this model was it included batteries).Pros: Neat concept and the one candle that came working was just right lighting wise. The ability to change colors and modes of the flicker is pretty cool. I found it would be perfect for a small room. The wax gives the candles a real candle look and feel which I did like. If I had all of them working out of the box my score might be higher.Cons: Again, 2/3 (more if you count batteries) of the product came defective. I am guessing these weren't checked even with a simple ON/OFF test to see if they work which is unfortunate. The light could be brighter but it would fit my purposes of using in a small room. I am not sure on battery life but I was thinking if I do keep the two I got working I would probably invest in rechargeable AAA batteries.

Made of wax for that real candle look, nice design,easy to use remote sit batteries included! However, sometimes I have to push the on/off button several times to function all three lights at the same time because the sensor would only pick up one or the other two. I also do wish they offered it in multi color or square shapes as an additional option. Overall, great purchase at a low price nice enough for housewarming gift giving.

after only a couple days the variable color switching mode stopped working, and the batteries run out far too quickly. At approx 2 to 3 hours of use per day the batteries were dead after abt a week. After new batteries were put in they too lasted the same limited length of time with the same use pattern, ie abt 1 week @ 3 hrs/day. Can't say I would buy this product again for these reasons, though. Next time I'll put extra money into getting the thing done reliably.

these are nice for parties,weddings,as ong as you cant see from above the light inside isnt pretty but the effect is very nice I will be using them on tall candle holders on my dining table for Christmas know one will be able to see down inside ,The colors are awesome

Absolutely beautiful ambiance. Whether it be on the "candle" mode or straight light mode. They give off a good amount of light when they are bunched together. I keep them in my back hallway, so I put them on at night instead of having my big overhead light on. You won't be disappointed. They arrived quickly and were packaged perfectly.

These are very pretty candles but the flicker is not realistic at all. They flicker too fast. Fortunately there is a setting for constant light which I use instead. Not as nice though. Two of the batteries provided were weak and have burned out after only using them for a few hours use.
