Great upgrade if looking to make pontoon faster out of hole

Gets you on plane a lot faster!
The propeller was easy to install, and it gets you on plane a lot faster than the stock 3 blade propeller. My old one got trashed on some rocks in the river. But I’m not throwing it away. It’s my understanding that it can be fixed for a lot cheaper than a new one. Good news, considering it’s always good to have a spare one handy in case of emergencies. I really wanted to get a Stainless Steel prop. But the cost wasn’t justified in my mind. Yeah, they’re shiny and stronger, but if you stay off the rocks and out of the mud, and don’t abuse it, it should last the life of your motor. Also, I got the prop in two days. A day earlier than projected and back on the water to try it out. Bonus!

OEM parts are the best
Slightly damaged my original prop so got this one while it was being fixed. Now I have a spare...just in case.

Great Prop
I'm running a 2015 115 mercury 4-stroke I was running a 20 pitch 3 blade stainless. I'm very happy with my new performance no loss top end my cruising speed was 23 now 30 mph same RPMs and gas consumption

Exactly what I wanted it to do....
I was looking for a little better holeshot out of my 2017 Tracker Pro Team 175 TXW with a 75 hp Four Stroke. I installed the Spitfire in about 20 minutes and had the boat in the water in an hour and a half.. There was a huge improvement in holeshot and I picked about 250 RPMs. Maybe a bit of improvement on top in but only about 1 mph or so. That could have been test conditions. I was just glad I didn't lose a lot and frankly it didn't matter much because I hardly ever run wide open. The original prop on the boat was a BlackMax 13.25 x 17P. Overall I'm very pleased.

Great coming out of the hole
It solved my issue of lag time coming out of the hole and coming up on plane but my engine does run at a higher RPM on plane. Had to drop a star on that because my fuel economy took a good hit.
