Great storage boxes for moving house. Did the job it needed, sturdy boxes.

When moving, I needed to find a core box that would carry most of the goods. For such a box you don't want it to be too big as it may become difficult to carry or may fall apart if too heavy. We have a lot of books and you don't not want to overfill a bigger box.These boxes are sturdy with the handles useful as an alternative way to carry and they carried the bulk of our home.Note for a move, you would want to supplement these boxes with perhaps a wardrobe box (includes a hanger for hanging your clothes), perhaps some specialist boxes (for carrying wine glasses, etc), bubblewrap and foam packing sheets for dishes, etc.

These boxes are just the job for moving house. Just be careful and use your common sense when using the handles... if the box is overly heavy, they clearly won't hold.

An average product in every way sold at an average price. It’s not terrible just not especially good. The cardboard is not especially strong and will begin to fail if the weight exceeds an “average” (not overly excessive) amount. The boxes are usable provided you don’t expect better than average performance. At least you won’t be ripped off by the average price. However, bear in mind that (like all the other packing boxes I looked at) you will need plenty of strong packing tape and a good pair of scissors to secure the bottoms (they don’t interlock) and and the tops (lids are no longer provided for any boxes it seems) and because of their average strength you probably won’t won’t to stack too many on top of each other.

I had boxes from the removal company which cost more than these boxes and they were of a similar size and robustness. So when I needed more boxes it made sense to buy these. Plus I have them for storage whilst I take my time emptying them. Easy to assemble and store flat too. I'd recommend this product and the seller. quick and easy ordering and delivery

Liked the size. It encouraged me not to overfill. Sometimes the packing tape wouldn't stick to the cardboard but not sure if this was the tape or the cardboard
