Everything's okay with this collar and its except it doesn't do what it said said it would not stain your dog's fur as you can see from the picture on my husky turns his neck black the reason I bought this is because you promised it wouldn't do that so very disappointed in that

Working with my two terriers and this is a big help. One tip -- I thought it was broken at first because it's a chain with a ring on each end. You have to slip the chain through to make it look as the photo appears. I thought one ring would slip through the other, but that's not how it works. Just slip the chain through one of the loops/rings. Works great!

This slip collar is perfect for dog walkers/trainers who prefer the slip collar option. I've used plenty of slip collars over the years, but this one seems more well made and super strong. It's stainless steel, so it won't tarnish or rust. If you like using slip collars, this is a great one! I think I could've ordered a size up. I ordered the 18" and it's a bit tight going over the head, but still works fine for my senior springer who still pulls! And I like how it fits in my pocket too.

I purchased this a gift for a friend with a new puppy. They are great for strong pullers and obedience lessons. If your dogs go on to leather collars as mine do and they like to get wet or muddy or both it’s nice to have one of these for them to change into. I keep one in my glove box because it stores as compactly as any collar could.

This is a very strong collar that is good for controlling large dogs. I bought a 26 inch collar for a bullmastiff and had to go to a 30 inch collar to allow some slip in the collar for corrections, The 26 inch collar fit but was always tight around the dog's neck. Measure the thickest part of the dog's neck. Usually just behind the skull, and add at least 2 inches for enough collar length to provide for corrections. If in question, go for the larger size.

UPDATE: I bought the 18” size a couple of months later and it fits much better. The collar is well made and the only improvement I would recommend is to make the links more round, so that the collar releases easier when the dog stops pulling.The sizing chart is wrong. I bought the 16”size because my dog’s neck is 13 1/2” and it is almost impossible to get off.

Fits perfect. Bought for my Jack Russel who likes to slip out of his harness and within one walk of using it he has mellowed a lot and doesn't try to pull out of it. Love it.

Works well. I ordered one daisy too small. I measured the neck as instructed and purchased off that. However, my pup has a tiny neck and slightly larger head and it was difficult to get the chain on and off. I was easily refunded my purchase and I have bought another chain from this company one size up.
