Probably not worth the price premium; No HRV
I wanted a device that would record ECG data for analysis and would give high quality output for HRV analysis apps.Unfortunately, while ECG data can be recorded, as far as I can tell this can only be done via the Shanren Sport app, and only in a seemingly non-standard format. Further, in my (minimal) testing, the recording would hang after some time and start to record empty entries or simply quit. When used with an HRV app (Elite HRV), the device provided a heavily smoothed signal and was useless. When used in standalone mode, the device creates a .fit file which can be exported later, but this only contains the same smoothed signal, and no R-R intervals, making deeper analysis impossible. For general heart rate tracking with data storage for use away from a phone/computer/etc, this HRM seems more than capable. However, for my uses, many of the generic chest straps available on Amazon are significantly more useful at ~1/4 the cost.

Very accurate
This device is so easy to use and very accurate. I compared the caloric burn it shows to the one on my fitness watch (which always seemed a little low to me) and it seemed more reasonable. It is very comfortable to wear, I forgot I was wearing it at all when running. And it's super easy to connect to all your devices, whether it be a watch a phone or tablet. When I run outside I connect it to my watch but when I run on the treadmill, I connect it to my phone and the app to have a live tracker and I love it. Definitely a good investment and worth every penny!

Inferior quality
I wanted this to be a device that would work for my needs but it turned out to be a device that just wouldn’t work. After two frustrating hours I hit the link to return it. Got my refund and now I’ll try and find something that will work for me, or at least work.....
