Why did you pick this product vs others?:Bought this for my RV trailer. On my last trip, I felt that the refrigerator was not cooling as well as it should. I ended up getting this in on my last trip. I was able to watch the temperature in the refrigerator. Found out that the refrigerator is working fine. It was just everybody was opening and closing the door too much dropping the internal temperature. This little gauge has come in quite handy.I also like the option where you can turn the unit on or off when not in use. Hopefully when it’s off, it’s still not drawing the battery down in any way. I guess we will see what happens in the future on that.

Not only perfect size, but easy to read. Fridge stopped working (circuit breaker) so decided needed to keep track of temp just in case. Reasonably priced as well.

I use this in my refrigerator that I store my chicken eggs in. Great to have to make sure temps are in the right zone. Works great. Nice large easy to read display and doesn't take up much room.

I bought three of these and they all read temperature the same within half a degree F. I discovered that the temperature difference versus the temperature gauge in my brand new Samsung fridge was SIX degrees! The fridge said 37 but the thermometers all read 43. That explained why our cheese was getting moldy. So I reset the fridge to 33 (as low as it would go) and now the thermometers all say 37-38. And the food feels nice and cold as it should. Ditto for the freezer. It was set to minus 3 but was actually reading plus 4. Ice cream was soft. Reset to 7 below zero and now the temperature is down to-2 and it is keeping everything frozen solid.

I wanted to know the max/min temp for my freezer -- mostly to see how high it got during power outages.This works well. I got the 4-pack, so I used the others in two bedrooms. It is handy for a rough reference because the precision is limited to about 1/2 degree F.It displays temp in tenths, but I found that the precision is only to about 1/2 degree -- for instance, it jumps from 69.8 to 70.2. Accurate enough to set temp and check for variations, but not exact.Cheaper than mechanical max/min thermometers. Also easy to read and reset.-Chris
