Amazon Essentials Men's Straight-Fit Stretch Cargo Pant (Available in Big & Tall)

These are a perfect fit. All other brands size are never correct but Amazon brand are true size. They feel super soft inside, the leg side pockets are not in the way and they dont scuff at all. The do not have elastic but they do stretch a good inch or so. Best pants I've bought so far and i have about 8 pairs of these kind. Literally just bought another pair before they stop making them. Im 214 lbs size 40. Get it. I hate reviews, if i took the time tp write this you best bet you will like these.

My son is a big guy, and finding pants that fit comfortably can be a challenge but these fit perfectly. These pants are the best fitting, most comfortable pants I’ve ever owned. Perfect! But the pockets are TERRIBLE! More on that later, but first the good news. The material is of medium thickness, so not too hot for Summer and not too thin for Winter. The 97% cotton, and the slight give (3% spandex) make them the most comfortable pants I wear and look good on me. The waist and length are true to size and I don’t need a belt unless I load up my pockets. I bought 4 of these and am very happy with the colors I picked out and the fit and comfort for all four of them. But whoever designed the pockets clearly was not a working man!! They are terrible! All of them! First, the front pockets are not deep enough. When sitting on a couch, half of the contents falls out of my pockets (coins, keys, pocket knife), and my phone sticks out at the top. The back pockets are shallow and too baggy. I could fit two wallets in one pocket, maybe even three, and because they aren’t deep enough and not snug, I’ve lost my wallet numerous times! Yikes! Fortunately, I’ve found it in or near my vehicle or at home in all cases. It is imperative that I button my pocket flap to keep my wallet in my back pocket. I’m not used to doing this, so sometimes I forget and lose my wallet! This is unacceptable! The cargo pockets are positioned just right on the leg, but the flaps have two buttons. I HATE buttons on pocket flaps! They often need two hands to button and unbutton, and they take extra time to get open and closed. Further, buttons catch on things as a working man in tight spaces. Buttons are just not a good choice. I’ll take Velcro or snaps over buttons any day (for pocket flaps). I really want to love these pants, given the colors, comfort, and how they look on me, but the poorly designed pockets are a showstopper. I won’t be buying another pair of these unless the manufacturer addresses the pocket issues I mentioned above. If the pocket issues are resolved, and nothing else changes with the pants, I’ll buy a hundred of these!

Most comfortable pants I've ever worn. That's a lot to say, but true. At 6' 320 lbs. I'm a big man. (Obese) I was thrilled to find these pants in my 56"x30" size and much more thrilled to wear them and find them so comfortable, and with the CARGO PANTS style, so handy with conventional pockets, rear pockets and the Side Leg Cargo Pockets lots of room for wallet, cell phone, appointment book, etc. PLUS: Fantastic Price! I will be buying more.

These are well-made pants at a very reasonable price. They fit and feel great. They're true to size with just a little bit of stretch for comfort. I now have two pair and will buy more.

The size is spot on. I'd rate the overall quality as just OK but for knocking around they are worth the price paid.

Nice overall but the buttons are a little cumbersome and the fabric is to nice and thin for the maintenance work. Great for bulky item dress pants.
