Skin Brightening & Anti Aging Serum with Tranexamic Acid, Arbutin, Licorice, Hyaluronic Acid (2.3oz)

This is my second time purchasing this product and it is absolutely WONDERFUL!! I've tried so many products from cerave, the ordinary, Paula choice, hydroquinone soap bars and more just trying to get rid of these pesky acne scars. A black dermatologist YouTuber recommended this product (sadly I can't remember the channel name) but I'm so thankful for that video. The serum doesn't feel oily at all and absorbs quickly into the skin! I've been using it for a month and it's gotten rid of the majority of my acne scars (the pesky ones that been there for years) and even-toned the hyperpigmentation on my knees!! Long story short definitely gets this product! The price is totally worth it and the ingredient list is straight to the point with no fillers or fragrances added!! plus it comes in a cute black velvet bag :)

This has the feeling of water, and absorbs very fast. A bottle should last you a good number of months. I feel it does slightly dry my skin out but not terribly so. I follow it up immediately with beta-glucan serum (after spritzing my face with water) to lock in moisture as BG serum retains water better than HA serums. I recommend storing it in a dark place in between uses. For the money, it's a great value. I have only been using a few weeks but I am confident it will slowly lighten sun spots on my face. The only complaint I have is it is a pain asking for a custom formula (like adding more of something, which they will do but it's a process getting the message to them).

I stumbled across this product after much study on how to treat hyperpigmentation in skin of color. I have used a lot of products over the years, I even tried at home chemical peels which only caused a rebound in my hyperpigmentation. I've been dealing with skin issues for years so I don't expect all my spots to clear up overnight. I liked that this product has much of what I needed in one bottle. After adding this serum to my regimen I can finally say that there is hope for my skin. The spots are fading and my face is much brighter.

UPDATE I've been using this nightly for a few weeks, and my skin is definitely smoother overall. It has begun lightening my dark spot, but it's gradual, but I definitely would recommend spreading it thinly over your entire face, because there is a demarcation where the lightening has started, albeit very slight. I was a little heavy handed on a couple of nights, and saw some slight peeling, so thin layers are probably best. So, overall, a pretty solid product, does what it claims. Will definitely re-purchase.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I bought this serum based on a Youtube review by Penn Smith. I've used it a few nights now and my skin feels plump and moisturized. I requested a higher percentage of Tranexamic Acid and JJLabs responded immediately to confirm my request. They included a detailed ingredient list with the purchase. I will update my review once I'm able to tell if the Tranexamic acid has lightened my mild hyper-pigmentation on my cheeks. But so far so good, no irritation whatsoever. The most impressive thing about this serum is that it's made fresh to order. Hopefully, they will increase their line of products.

With 2 months of daily use and no refrigeration, the serum remains completely transparent, no signs of oxidation at all! This is exceptional for anything that contains 15% L-ascorbic acid, to the extend that I began to have doubts about the actual amount of active ingredients contained in the product. I have no way to prove it one way or another, and the product didn't cause any irritation (it didn't improve my skin either). In honesty it just feels like a bottle of diluted hyaluronic acid.

I just ordered my 3rd bottle. I use this every morning. It's lightweight & sits nicely under my moisturizer & sunscreen. Since I hit 30, I've been getting a lot of red moles or "cherry angiomas" all over my arms & chest. Anytime one has started to show up on my face this stuff stops it in its tracks! It has also helped fade acne scars & has definitely evened out my skin tone. My skin is sensitive, so many products I've tried turn it bright red. I don't have a problem with this serum. The big bottle is a great deal for the money. I recommend this to everyone.

This product is so amazing. I have tried so many lightening serum over the years. They are so expensive but none have given me good result. After watching a video of skin care from one aesthetician . She recommend this. I tried and after 10 days of used, my pigmentations are fading tremendously. My skin are almost spotless and my skin tone is much, much better. I find it mild. It doesn’t work right away, but I think it’s preventing the sun from causing hyperpigmentation. It feels good when you put it on. I use it in the mornings under my sunblock. At night, I use a retinol serum.
