Anyone wanting to diagnose, repair, or rebuild a duramax should pick this manual up. Lots of great tips and info. Pictures and step by step easy to understand instructions. Definitely recommend this to anyone that owns a duramax

worth the investment
this book had more information than I was expecting for my Duramax Truck... helped me fix what needed to get fix ... I could have used a few more pictures... especially in this age where photos are so cheep to make...

Well Worth The Cost
This is exactly what I expected, As with all Haynes manuals, they are not the most detailed on all repairs. However, for the average home mechanic it will save you many hours of flusteration and dollars in labor costs! For the cost of its purchase verses dealer versions, you can't go wrong!

You can find all this info on the internet in the forums and what not but its nice to have it handy and all in one place when you are elbow deep in repairs on your truck. Great book with all the needed info for routine and not so routine repairs.

These are not in depth instructions for all issues but do cover what is needed by work you can do yourself.

A quick look at the manual and it has the information that I was looking for. It has pictures that show the location of the part and a very detailed description on how to change it. It has a lot of wiring diagrams in the back of the manual which is also very helpful. A great book for the do it yourselfer.

Glad I got this book as it helped a lot in me needing to change my water pump and change the front gasket of the engine block. So so for price, but must have book if you do any work yourself.
