Best Self Tanner.
I absolutely love this Bondi Sands self-tan. The color is beautiful and natural, and it develops evenly within 6–8 hours without looking orange or muddy. It blends effortlessly and goes on smoothly, with no streaking or patchiness, even on tricky areas like elbows, knees, and ankles. It sets quickly but not too fast, so you still have enough time to blend while it’s wet. One of my favorite things is that it doesn’t transfer at all during the developing time, which makes it super low-stress to wear. Overall, it’s easy to apply, forgiving, and gives a flawless, long-lasting glow. Would definitely repurchase.

Opaque, Casper-ish, translucent skin? NO MORE!
Even, consistent, natural looking tan on the most pasty and uneven skin-without the gross weird tanner smell! I have never ever ever liked self tanner until this. I needed it initially for a bridal shower where my opaque legs and arms would show-so I gave it a try and now it’s part of my weekly ritual!! I recommend an exfoliating glove and sugar scrub all over in the shower a couple hours before applying. The fine callus remover for feet-I use it on my heels and elbows and legs-and then dry well. BE ADVISED-It will transfer to sheets or clothes while wet and then even overnight for the first application- but leave it for several hours and lounge or sleep in dark clothes or dark sheets and rinse and it won’t after that. Even then, I don’t notice it has stained anything dark. It’s easy to apply, I haven’t had weird streaks or patches, and nobody has ever asked “what tanner do you use?” Because they assume I’m just tan. 🤣 I’m a forever customer. Buy it. Love it. 10000/10

Love it! It meets all my needs!
I have not used tanners in years because of the orange and yucky smelling products of the past. I recently did a little research and decided on this Bondi Foam. I have fair to medium skin and am in my mid-50's. I have used it 3 times in the last month. I don't have anything to compare it to other than the St. Tropez Classic Bronzer foam that I used once this week. They are pretty similar but I like the Bondi better and the Bondi is much less expensive. The ratings below aren’t comparing it to another product, just areas where it could improve to meet my needs. SMELL 9/10: No fake tanning smell during application or afterwards. Just a light nice smell. I don't wear or use any perfumed products and am hypersensitive to smells and I like it and it does not give me a headache. I gave it a 9 because no smell or lighter smell would always be better for me. APPLICATION 10/10: I followed the directions exactly as recommended (exfoliate and shave the day before, etc.) Easy application. Other than having someone else do it, I can’t imagine what would make it easier. I like how you can see the color so you know where you've been. I used the mitt everywhere and the back thing for my back. I go over my elbows, knees, and ankles again with the other side of the mitt to get any extra product off. I use it for my face but very lightly. Am thinking of trying a face only product in the future. I apply it while wearing an old bathing suit and then after about an hour, I put loose dark clothes on. WAIT 8/10: I avoid activities that would make me sweat for the day. After 7-8 hours, I thoroughly rinse off - no soap. I wait to shower with soap until the next day. Obviously, a shorter wait to resume regular dress, normal activities, and shower with soap would be better. I wonder if the express Bondi products are as good and may try in the future. TRANSFER 10/10: No transfer onto dark clothes during the 7-8 wait or white bed sheets after the rinse. COLOR 9/10: Since it's spring and I want it to look natural, I use the "Light/Medium" and it gets me a little more than sunkissed. I do the "re-apply after 30 minute" option. I do not get any streaks or blotchiness. If I need it in the summer, I would use the dark instead. MOISTERIZING 8/10: It doesn't make me feel dried out but I also don't feel moisturized. However, I don’t need this product to make me feel moisturized because I have my own creams and lotions I use afterwards. LONGEVITY 9/10: Lasts approximately 6-7 days as far as I can tell. I don’t need to shave everyday so that probably helps.

Detailed Honest Review of Ultra Dark!
Okay so to start I ordered this product after watching video reviews on YouTube and reading reviews on here and they all seemed very positive. Before using this product I had only used the Jergen’s gradual tan lotion in dark and received actual spray tans from machines or had someone tan me with a spray machine. But if y’all know getting spray tans is pricey and that is why I decided to buy this product. When I received the item it was wrapped in plastic and I’m assuming they do that because of the leaking problem other buyers seem to have had. Mine was also leaking a little which was a little messy to open and it stained the lettering on the bottle pink. I also purchased the Bondi Sands mitt which I loved. Before applying the product I showered, exfoliated, and had shaved. Once my body was dry I followed the instructions on the bottle which say to use long strokes with the mitt and then to wait 30 mins before applying a second coat for a darker longer lasting tan. I used two pumps on the mitt and began applying to my legs first. **the foam is green looking** I believe this is the guide color so you can see where you have applied the product. I do not believe this means the product is defected. The reason I say this is because when you shower after applying it the water has a greenish tint to it. I also posted a picture and this shows one leg after about 10 minutes of application and one leg with no application. You can see the leg I applied product to looks an olive tone. So after I applied one layer to my body I waited the 30 minutes and then did the next layer. This foam does leave your skin feeling pretty sticky so I was pretty much naked for an hour total to allow this product to dry before getting dressed. (I had tried to put clothes on about 10 minutes after applying the second coat and it stained the inside of my jean shorts). Alright so after I completed the application which was around 5 pm I went on with my day and initially I was really pleased with the color I had. Here is where I messed up. I didn’t shower at the 6 hour mark which would have been at around 11 pm. I had a long day and when I went to put my daughter to bed I accidentally fell asleep with her. So I didn’t end up waking up until 9 am the next morning, meaning I had sat in this for about 17 hours. I think this is why I wasn’t satisfied with the end result, which was a very dark orange looking color. Now the positive is that the color did not look streaky at all! The mitt and the foam product worked really well together. The only other thing I would suggest for application is to maybe apply a regular lotion to knees, elbows, tops of feet, and hands before applying the foam as well as applying the foam VERY sparingly to these areas. I think that if I would have showered at the 6 hour mark I would be more satisfied with the final color. You can see the extreme color difference in my photo of my legs before and after the completed application. So I hope this was helpful and I will be posting an updated photo once I have the chance to reapply knowing what I know now! Also the scent is nice and it does fade but if it never gets to strong or gross smelling. If you have used the jergens that one has a pretty strong smell that lingers and this doesn’t do that.

Great product! Not just for girls, guys you'll like it too! + Full Application Guide
As a guy with pale skin, I never tanned very easily, I got a little bit darker in the summers than in the winters but it was nothing too noticeable. I always felt my skin tone was holding me back from looking my best and impressing the girls. Then I discovered Bondi Sands and couldn't be happier with the way it makes my skin look! I finally have a true tan for the first time in my life. At first I bought the Dark tanning foam and was satisfied with the look, it certainly made me a shade or two darker and gave my skin some much needed color. Then I tried the Ultra Dark and WOW it looked so much better. No orange spary tan look and it looks and feels great. It made my fair skin look tan, at least 3 or 4 shades darker but it still looked natural and had a nice golden hue. If you're reading this and trying to decide between Dark and Ultra Dark get the Ultra Dark, it's worth it. The best part about it is as your skin gets paler like during the cold winter months the tan will change with it and seem lighter so you can use the same kind all year round. And you can still tan through the foam as well if you like to be outside. Guide: About the product: The tan does NOT last 5-7 days like advertised, it lasts a true 4 days (given you shower every day) and starts to fade on the 4th day. So for a consistent tan you'll want to apply every 4-5 days so if you're first application is on Sunday night you'll want to reapply Thursday or Friday night. Every 4-5 days is probably the best so the tan can fade a little and that way when you reapply it it’ll be darker. The bottle itself will last about 10 applications, so around 1.5-2 months which is a pretty good deal. Application tips: -Get the tanning mitt -Put a couple pumps on the mitt and use long strokes (like the whole arm or leg not just one half of it). And rub it in for a deeper longer lasting tan. Try to get ALL of it off the mitt before you do more pumps. -Do it in a mirror so you can see what areas you have covered -For your back, you can put the product on the back of the mitt and use the back of your hand to rub it in. Personally I only do my scapula/neck area and sides, the only other place I can reach with my hand is my lower back but that gets SUPER splotchy so honestly don’t worry about it. No one looks at your back anyways, and you can always say it’s a riding lawn mowing tan line if you want. But don’t forget it’s totally okay for you to admit you self tan, like seriously no one cares. None of my guy friends or girls have judged me about it, and in fact they have asked me what I use because it looks good! But you can have a partner help you with your back if you're self conscious. -Put the remaining residue on your face and DONT FORGET to close your eyes and apply some around your eyes/nose otherwise you'll have a huge tan line. You can put it on your hands and feet too but honestly I don't just because it fades weird on the feet and looks really streaky. -Personally I wear underwear and hike it up a bit when doing it and just apply the product up to that line (so yes I have a huge tan line on my waist and upper thighs) but it's your call if you want to get every part of your body or not. -You will look super green after you apply it but dont worry once it dries after 6 hours you'll look much better and after you shower in the morning it'll look great once it dries fully. When you first get out of the shower it'll look lighter but it darkens once you dry off. -DONT use soap when rinsing off the product after the 6 hours otherwise you might take too much off and you wont look as tan. Take a soapy shower beforehand and wait 30min-1hr and then apply the tan at night before you go to bed. -It WILL STAIN WHITE sheets and clothing when you first apply it that first night so be warned. Will show up a little on grey too. But after you rinse the top layer off in the morning it won't stain anything so you can wear white after the first night, just not when you apply it initally.

BEST SELF TANNER IVE TRIED!
This is my absolute favorite self tanner. The color it gives is exactly what I want and I don’t feel it looks orange at all. It goes on very easily and since it’s dark, you can see where you are applying it. It dries fairly fast and you can see the color developing on your skin. I would say the color lasts about a week at a time on me. The smell is good. I’ve tried many self tanners and this is the one I’ve stuck with. This brand has been excellent and the price point is just right. A bottle also lasts me a long time. So very happy with my purchase!

Awesome self tanner
Best self tanning stuff I’ve ever bought and I’ve tried several! Looks natural and makes you look really tan!! The key is to really apply evenly and wipe even on toes, fingers, elbows etc.

Very good pros, very bad cons.
After using this product for close to a month, there’s some very positive pros and very negative cons. Pros: - Very natural looking color once applied. Goes on easily with a mit or brush, very easy to blend and see where you need to apply more - Isn’t too overpowering once developed. Longer development time and you can keep reapplying to get desired color - Lasts about 2-3 days. Fades evenly. - No orange cast - has pink undertone. Cons: - Transfers pink stains to everything. Even after allowing more than sufficient time to dry, you will transfer a pink tint onto everything you come into contact with as long as you have the product on. Sheets, leather car seats, office chair, you name it. It stains everything. The stain is very very difficult to get out and has not successfully come out of a plastic chair or clothing. Just be mindful of this if you’re in contact with anything other than dark colors. - After showering, you’ll probably be two shades lighter than you thought you would be. It’s hard to gauge how long to leave the product on because it takes a while to develop, but then after showering you’ll notice places where I didn’t fully take that you thought were sufficiently covered. As such, you need to now reapply again, which means more product used. Overall, this didn’t last me as long as I would have liked for the price tag.
