This is the only product I could find that’s good enough compare to Vileda double washing line I bought more than 10 years ago. Had 2 more before this one and both broke within a year. Retracting function is responsive, hook is sturdy and the fastening bit below is deep enough so it’s tight even when you put blanket or duvet on.

Neat little package and seems sturdy enough. Only one gripe is it's a bit awkward to pull in the line while wrapping it around the stay posts (which you need if you don't want the line on the floor). Everything else is good.

You need to mount outside so need drill holes, so tools needed.Works well. Only bad thing is rope wire is thin so normal clothes pegs do not hold clothes, thet slide arund. You just got to fold the clothes where pegging.

Had this for way over a year now and waited to do the review as it was a bit mixed when I purchased it. The line itself is easy to install and is very durable. It’s great if you don’t want a line on show all the time.

Like the well known tin of paint, does exactly as it says. I would have preferred it didn’t swivel though.

Bought this replace a minky retractable line as the minky tension clips kept snapping. What a waste of money this is. The bracket is aluminium so bends and twists with the line, and only having two screws means it’ll pull out of the wall often.Save your money and buy the Minky one. It’s far superior and the new ones have an improved tension clips.If this wasn’t damage from falling off the wall twice I’d return it for the refund. It may be alright indoors or over a short distance however the weight of wet washing over 10 meters of line is just too much for this to handle.
