My teeth were too sensitive.
Lightened but had to abort due to sensitivity of teeth.

Works really well!
I use this in conjunction with an LED mouth tray, so I can't speak to its effectiveness by itself.Used with the mouth tray, Wow! Noticeable results after 1 use! My teeth had become discolored due to years of coffee and smoking. I had tried over the counter whitening strips a long time ago, and wasn't impressed. I didn't expect much from this, either, but I would say that I noticed a lightening of at least a shade after the first use. I'm using this daily for 30 minutes at a time, and I'm on day 5. I don't think that I'm getting a shade lighter each day, as it seems to be about the same as after the first time. (I probably should've been taking pictures). I plan on using this daily for 2 weeks, and then evaluating the results. The gel itself is thick enough to for me to just kinda paint on my teeth. It doesn't taste awful, but it doesn't taste good, either. It does kinda make my lips tingle if it gets on them, but it doesn't cause any gum sensitivity at all.Even if all I get is a shade or two lighter, I'm happy with my purchase. I've gone from a dull yellow-ish to a brighter, whighter-ish color and that already looks better.

Great Inexpensive Product
I am a 2009 retired dentist and in my office we paid more for similar carbamide peroxide bleach than you pay for this online. If you allow some of this bleach to touch your gingiva for any length of time you will know it. There will be discomfort and perhaps a whitening of the gingiva that will not last. There is no permanent damage from this but marked soreness will result and depending on length of exposure , can last up to a day or so. You do not need to cover all of the enamel to get effective bleaching of the the entire visible tooth/teeth. If you cover 1/2 to 2/3 of the clinical crown ( ie the visible part of your teeth) the "bleach" will lighten the entire visible tooth. Another side to this bleaching process is that the higher the concentration of the bleach the faster the bleaching happens but there is the increased risk of transient sensitivity as well so the recommendation is go slow as you increase exposure time. Another reason for covering only 1/2 to 2/3 of the of the clinical crowns of the teeth is the issue of swallowing the excess carbamide peroxide. I don't think it is a problem but there is no sense swallowing any of this you don't have to. I don't think FDA or researchers have demonstrated any evidence of toxicity from carbamide peroxide or we would have heard about it- nevertheless, use as little as possible to get the job done. I think this product is very effective and strongly recommend it.

My experience with this product.
I bought this product about 2 months ago, ive been using it for that whole time, about twice a week.So before I even talk abiut the result, lets talk packaging and product itself.Packaging came in a plastic baggie (isnt the worst thing) came with instructions (pretty self explanatory assuming youve already done it before)The product comes in a fairly massive syringe, can probably last you afew years.Since the Syringes' are really big, the hole it comes out of are large aswell and they aren't very sensative to pressure, so they sometimes just squirt quite alot at once.I was using q-tips to spread it into my brace. Now, product wise. I would assume I got the less powerful mixture, but after the 3rd apply I already noticed a sizeable difference from the start, and after the 5th time my teeth got atleast 2 shades whiter (from an online teeth whitening page, not what they give u in the box).Overall, I can see a better eay of packaging and syringes being higher quality. But for the extremely cheap price, I think the total product with shipping (which was fast and easy) and experience was worth it.Id recommend.

You Can't Go Wrong With This Product
RapidEffects Teeth Bleaching Whitening, 35% Gel Syringes, Free Shade Guide, 10 mL X 4 is a great deal and a great product!I have been using one of the Opalescence products that my dentist recommended, which works great, and it uses the same chemical to whiten your teeth, carbamide peroxide, as the RapidEffects product.I have done three 30 minute RapidEffects whitening cycles in a 7-day period, and they were enough to return my teeth to their normal bright color. I had no gum or tooth sensitivity with the 35% formulation, but I did use a finger to wipe off any excess product from my gums once the whitening trays were in place. The stronger 35% formulation works faster than the weaker formulations, so you can squeeze in a ‘quickie’ whitening session almost anytime.Previously, I paid about $20 US for 4 x 1.2 mL of the Opalescent product, or over $4 US per mL, so getting 40 mL for $8 US is a no brainer. The RapidEffects syringes are marked ‘single use’, and that means the screw-in dispenser tip has to be cut to allow the product to be applied through the tip, and there is no way provided to reseal the tip. However the resealable dispenser tips from the Opalescence syringes have the same standard threading and fit perfectly. Also, you might be able to use another method to seal off the original cut tip, but I haven’t tried that.Alternatively, you could unscrew the dispenser tip and apply the product directly from the syringe to the whitening tray, or to a Q-tip or other device that can get the product onto the tray where you want it, then reseal the syringe with the original tip.And if you do cut one tip for application, you can use that again on the remaining syringes, and keep an original tip to reseal the syringe.Highly recommended!!!

White as white
Bought these after a four week dentist treatment using 16% solutions to top up and extend the whitening I had started. These syringes are larger than the ones I received from the dentist however the solutions is runnier in these syringes. I kept one of the original dentist syringes at it has a finer point on the end of the outlet, whereas these syringes did not come with any nozzle so the size of the solution is large and you cannot create a bead or drops in the tooth trays as easily. Something to bear in mind as the instructions state applying an Apple lead bead in the trays! Therefore I am transferring the solution from the larger syringes to the smaller dentist syringe. I am into the 3rd syringe now and on average with daily application each syringe is lasting about 10 days. Over the past month I have seen an improvement in whitening of about one-two shades.

Effective whitening gel for a great price
This whitening gel works very well. I haven't noticed any pain or burning sensations others have mentioned when it gets on my gums, just some slight tingling if it's been there for a while. I apply the gel to my teeth using a cotton swab and then put dental trays on my teeth. I usually leave it on for an hour at a time, but if you haven't used it before, I'd suggest building up to an hour (or however long you need/can tolerate) from 20 minutes or so.The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the taste is terrible. I'm not expecting a whitening gel to taste great (and I know you're not really supposed to taste it, but it does happen accidentally now and then). To me it seems like they put something in there to mask the chemical taste and the two tastes clash horribly.

Did not whiten my teeth at all
This product did not work. It did not whiten my teeth at all. I’ve used it three times and have not seen any difference in the colour of my teeth. Experienced very mild sensitivity on my gums but nothing intense. Difficult to believe the level of bleach is what product claims it be.
