As a licensed pro specializing in children's haircuts, this clipper is a dream for babies who's parents want close cuts. Super safe, I use these especially for those who for religious purposes want all the haor shaved. Safe, effective, and next to silent. Highly recommend. Guard sizes stop at a close to #4 wish there was a 5 but clipper over comb suffices to blend. All in all, a great find. Note, does not work well for coarse hair. It will work....but requires a lot of extra effort and just isn't worth that. However, not many babies have coarse hair

The media could not be loaded. Just got these clippers today and I put them to use right away! My son HATES going to the salon to get his hair cut and each time we've gone it's gotten progressively worse and more stressful for all involved so I decided to start cutting at home. My son is 3 1/2 and has SPD and Autism and he really hates the sound of hair clippers so when I saw this as a quieter option I decided to give it a try and I'm so glad I did!! Yes, you can still hear them but I compare the vibrations to the sound of an electric tooth brush which is not too bad at all! My son did still cry in the beginning but he didn't try to cover his head or ears or grab the clippers like he would with regular clippers which is of course is very dangerous! By the end of his cut he had calmed down and gotten used to them and didn't seem to mind even when I went to clean around his ears which is always the toughest part. The fact that these are rechargeable and waterproof just adds to their appeal plus the awesome pricetag made these worth every penny in my opinion. My son is biracial with tight curly hair and these cut no problem with 0 snags and was very even. This was 100% a great purchase and I feel confident my son won't be so traumatized by haircuts going forward.

Our son has sensory issues and it’s always a struggle giving him haircuts. This is perfect for him, he is almost 9 yrs old and still works great for his hair. We had a similar one that lasted 8 yrs, so I’m hoping this will also last a long time. I feel that this is safe, no matter how much my son moves during a haircut, I’m confident that it will not cut his skin. Even without the guide, it’s safe for cleaning the edges.

Bought two months ago, but just opened last night to give my son a haircut. The product will not charge - tried many charging blocks, different outlets, etc. It will not charge and because we are past the 30 day window, it is completely useless to us. Would not recommend.

These sensory clippers did not meet my expectations. Although they are small and functional, these clippers are not quiet at all. After comparing side by side to standard wahl clippers, the noise levels are nearly identical. Personally, theres only a minor difference. The blade isn't as sharp, the charging time and durability isn't as advertised. Hair accumulates fast into the guards. The best part is that it's cordless.5/10.
